Poll
Poll
I love being a memeber of this group even though I don't
post often - but when the arguments start I often delete a large
number of posts without reading them - a hard decision because
even in the middle of the frustrations you all express, there is
more than the occasional gem.
I haven't read the categories on the poll - and I'm not interested in
finding out which camp I belong to or having someone count me as a
number to be placed on a right side or a wrong side. At the risk of a
diatribe on 'what cure really is', I prefer to remain open to
anything which could benefit the patient in the long term.
I'm constantly amazed at the wealth of information that is shared and
the generosity in the sharing of it on this site.
I hope it can keep happening despite the polarisation that could lead
to the erosion of good will and generosity and the eventual silencing
of those with less resiliance. It's not true that the last person
talking is speaking the truth.
I wonder what it is in Homoeopathy that attracts the sort of zealous
reactivity which I am more used to seeing in religious groups. My
impression is that Hahnamann also had it.

Re: Poll
Well said Gail, I too, once the vitriol starts, delete every post with that heading and start to wonder about what other groups there are out there that can just stick to helping each other. Hey I've been predominantly a 4th edition prescriber (these days I do more and more 5th and 6th edition) - like others here was taught about 5th and 6th but followed my teacher into dry doses - and believe it or not I have quite a bit of success - but hey I'm always updating always learning and I'm sad that the discussion couldnt just centre on helping those like me make the transition to better 5th and 6th edition prescribing BUT you all lost me when the bitching started. Its not a good advertisement for what the 5th and 6th edition do to the prescribers!!!!
I'd rather we took a poll on the actual intricate details of how each of you make up and actually use your 5th and 6th edition remedies. Yes Sheri I know -its in the organon - BUT its interpretation can be very widely taken, and it is because of this that I have been slow to take it on as my understanding was still so hazy on some of the nuances. I want to know how you all actually mix your medicinal potencies - how you decide on the 2 - 10 succussions - the double dilutions, - the size of the bottle, the n umb er of tablespoons etc etc (as these seem to vary depending on who you are talking to, reading etc - yes you may be telling me something that I already know BUT in amongst everyones individual styles are some individual gems and explained in different personal language so that everyone ends up with the range of best practice overall. Isnt it time for everyone to stop the preaching and start the teaching, that is what I vote for. Regards Pauline

Re: Poll
Seconded.
It is not about taking sides, it is about understanding.
Healthy debate promotes understanding.
Polls indeed! - (i thought only lap dancers needed polls

Sorry you are distressed
I did share a lot of that - how you decide - dosing, etc.
I posted many of Dr. Luc's articles that teach intro info on that.
I shared how I administer remedies according to 5th/6th/David Little & Dr.
Luc's help
How to manage the case
Dr. Luc's book is really the best for all of this as he goes into so many
different scenarios
I guess you missed it when you deleted posts with headings you didn't like.

Well, I do agree with you. But we have to face it all the way. Such things too are human .. and we often have these weaknesses as human, less as Homeopaths..

Re: Poll
I have just double-checked. Members can start polls at the moment in the Minutus yahoo group.
So who is doing it?
And how many votes does it need? According to the homepage Minutus has currently 3381 members. I suspect that only a relatively small number is actually still active. It is a known fact that for several years unsubscribing from yahoo groups has not functionned properly.
How many votes would yahoo want to make the change? It would be totally unrealistic to expect e.g. 50% of members to voice their opinion.
Barbara
Ok! Let’s do the poll.
I absolutely want to use the .io And we have to pay and then we don’t have anything to do with the BIG 3 SPY AGENCIES (Amazon, Google or Facebook), which should be a priority for this group due to the nature of this group and sensitivity to specific topics…. THEY HATE HOMEOPATHY and the stuff they don’t want us to talk about. Right?
I really have no money, but if we go with io then we should have enough people who can throw in a few bucks so we CAN HAVE what we have now!
Can someone set up the poll? We need to vote on someone with enough time and knowledge about homeopathy to keep this working. We have many people who are skilled enough
who want to keep this going.
I will send this message to a few people I think will want to continue participation. Chuck, we don’t need a website. We accomplished a lot over the years without it.
Speak up people?
VICKI
Hi Vicki -
If you have access to the content (can see it) you can copy it to a different site.
If your Group has "Polls" enabled, you can run a poll for 7 days to request a new group owner. Once the poll is complete, you can report back to us and we'll file a ticket to get the group owner changed.
Hope that helps!

Nobody is doing it Barbara… we have to do it for 7 days. I do not know what it means but but Ryan explained it was part of owning the content and moving people somehow, but but I don’t know the details. I am taking to him on Monday, but it’s too late.

Best to all.

Re: Poll
THIS IS A HUGE MESS! LOL… Barbara, just wait until Monday. I already sent Ryan a message to contact you… what email address… Do whatever he tells you to do. ALSO…. do you know the email for the Hanneman list or the other one they are talking about?
Good luck. I can’t stay due to google. I know you will sincerely make it happen. Keep Chuck out and then talk to Ryan on Monday, ok?
Best of everything.
