No argument with the need for better education. However one word of caution - your encouragement to "examine all your patients from head to toe" is very dangerous in some states here in the US. In many states , if not licensed medical professionals, we may not 'examine' our patients - we can't even call them patients - but rather clients. I have been advised that anything that even 'gives the appearance of practicing medicine' is justification for legal action. No matter how well meaning - advice to 'examine all of our patients from head to toe' could land non-state-licensed professionals in jail.
Honestly you do not need a course online.
You can study the book by Barbara Bates A guide to physical examination, the old book French Index of differential diagnosis and Hamilton Bailey's Demonstration of physical signs in clinical surgery along with reading the Merck manual from cover to cover.
Also BIHUSA has a good distance learning DD course, but you still need the books, or others, there are many published, and although I would enjoy, time permitting, to write a course and earn some $$ from teaching it, everything that you need to know is already there.
Then you need to find a nice GP that would allow you to examine a few patients with him/her and practice some skills, or volunteer or learn EMT and work part time for ambulances.....good skills practice.
It looks like a lot to ask, right? Yes because there is a lot to know, but start with the books and do examine all your patients from head to toe, practice on your family and friends.

That's all true - but the principle still holds - and where you need a
MD or DVM to do the examination for you - then you send the client to
that MD or DVM to get that done.
As a veterinary homeopath - I work entirely by email - I do not even
see the animals whose owners need help treating them. But my
questionnaire for chronic disease requires answers that can not be given
without a very complete physical exam - and in many cases lab tests.
I can not force clients to get lab tests - but I can certainly point
out that the success of homeopathy is dependent on the information the
client gives to me - and that it is only in the animal's interests to
obtain the information needed to make the best remedy selection.

So whether we ourselves do the examination - or a different qualified
professional does it for us - the need to have it happen, is always
there and needs to be met.

Fine - Make sure to understand what's legal in your state - but ALSO
make sure to use an appropriate way to fill in the gaps. It's not an
excuse to omit something important just because you are barred from
doing it personally:-)
