What the heck does that mean? I was having severe pains in my right leg joint
, couldn't lift that leg without pain nor flex it inward as in the lotus
position..this was after calc carb 30. I took lyc cause it has helped me
before and seemed to fit...and now i feel like endorphins are running through
my veins...and this you can imagine feels pretty good. Is that what orgasm of
blood is referring to? my leg now feels way better even though i have to go
slow at stretching it..
orgasm of blood
Re: orgasm of blood
It just means a 'rush of blood', a paroxysm of blood and every rx in that rubric will have its own reason for being there.
In Lycopodium it comes in a variety of ways mainly because this remedy has a poor or disharmonious circulation resulting in blood congestion, so you get 'sensation as if the circulation stood still' and to follow on from that the orgasm of blood comes in the form of 'rush of blood to the head' + 'nosebleeds' + 'as if hot blood rushed into ears' + 'face, flushes of heat' + 'pulse fast' (even though circulation is slow) + 'suddenness of sx especially sudden flushes of heat, can be anywhere'.
Very often you will find that the rx in this rubric are generally haemorrhagic ones and that the 'orgasm' or the 'rush' (suddenness) replicates itself throughout the whole sx picture.
Seems like it was a good prescription as it could well have 'got the circulation going' and it has a huge affinity to tendons, hamstrings and fibrous tissue. Joy
