It also strikes me that the "delusion floating" rubric might be useful with this symptom -- it was clear that in addition to the stabbing issue, the person seemed also to want to be "anchored" in some way.
Is Opium germane to the case at all?
(they're also afraid of being stabbed).

Hi JROZ,

I don't know about bright - but it is an idea.

There are remedies that have "light touch aggravates, strong pressure
amel. Or those that cannot stand the slightest draft of air on a
certain part of their body.

And as far as "grounding" is concerned - from what knowledge I have of
TCM, this might not necessarily be contradicted by what you say. She
may be the way she is because there is aversion to even the slightest
possiblity of becoming "ungrounded" (the German expression for
"spacing out" is "abheben", literally translated "take off - as a
plane when it takes off from the ground.

other rubrics that might pertain -

some of the walking rubrics (how does she actually walk would be good to know)

fear of sharp objects

feet, soles sensitive

possibly use the rubric 'feet numbness, soles' (literally pins and needles and other stabbing like instruments) if there is little sensation in the soles and she might need to feel the ground because the numbness prevents it - hydrogen has a strange sx of feeling air around their feet and it unsettles them - zincum need to walk really flat footed because they have a strong feeling of formication in the soles - chocolate have a lot of problems with their feet + a delusion about being cut up and needing the pressure of being wrapped up to >>> - all these rx have some connection to a fear of being hurt in some way

delusion, in the air, hovering like a spirit

delusion being dissected

fear of knives

the snake rx all have issues with their feet cos snakes don't have any :-)

in fact there are so many rx to think of that have some kind of combination of these strange feet sensations and a curiosity about cutting, stabbing, being hurt, it is hard to know where to start or even stop, look forward to what Joe might come back with. Joy

Hi,

Seems it is a sense of being 'vulnerable' - to external forces.
Stramonium came to mind on initial reading because of the imagery
around knives and cutting, but it is interesting that Murphys has this:

M; Mind; VUNERABLE, feels (4) : choc., hydrog., Nat-m., staph.

(and Staph IS very vulnerable, plus used after deep cuts).

Maybe something in her past (trauma) was associated in her mind with
bare feet, or when she didn't have her feet on the ground ... ? Just
a thought.

kind regards, Barbara

Hi Shannon,
I suspect it is a Puls feature - not dependent on species - but just
easier to recognize in those (cats, dogs) whom we tend to lift off their
feet :-)))
I've not yet found a constitutional feature that shows in one species
but not all the others - provided they all have the "parts"! For example
Lyc has a very long tail - in species that have the tail part:-)

Namaste,

yes it could be and the trouble with such seemingly rich sx is that
they can sparkle too much and apart from always asking "why?" someone
feels like this or at least finding a way of understanding more about
these strange sensations is to rank and grade just like you would with
any other sx. So, Dr Roz can't tell us more but you need to know how
such potentially strange sx fit in with the rest of the case - do they
define the case or are there rubrics that envelope the case better,
e.g. it could be a vulnerability, or an extreme sensitivity - or are
they red herrings and only describe a small portion of the case. For
example the fascination regarding the cutting and stabbing, which is
the most important here, is it the cutting and stabbing or is it the
curiosity, is she extremely curious about many 'strange' situations
such as you might get with Agaricus (I use this rx because Agar is
very inquisitive and also has a lot of strange sensations in the
feet), so maybe the rubric 'inquisitive' will be useful.

Poor Joe, he's got a lot of mails to answer when he wakes up :-)

Interesting, thanks, I will have a look, although she does not have a floating or levitation delusion/feeling, I asked about it.
I am not allowed to disclose more...........

Thanks, but why would it be located only on the soles of the feet? And as a martial art practitioner, I can tell you that the soles of my feet can be deadly and not vulnerable, and not only because of the smell :-)) (sorry , could not resist that one..........)
