Does anyone have some advice to deal with the immediate and acute situation of a scabies infestation? The people are homeopathically savvy and one is under constitutional treatment. They need to get rid of the critters, and then treat for the skin issues.
Thanks,

Scabies
Re: Scabies
Hi Daniel,
You are a smart guy to post to this list (not being sarcastic!) Thgis is
not an easy situation - scabies is not a self-limiting complaint and its
contagion is isolating.
There are over 100 homeopathic remedies listed for the complaint. However
homeopathy is not a symptomatic medicine - it uses symptoms to come to a
conclusion about the whole-organism state of an individual. This state is
like a "picture" with many facets. In order to find the intersection of
your "picture" and one of the remedies clinically applicable to scabies,
an interview and followup, and maybe a couple of tries will be needed by a
well educated h-path. The free clinic mentioned (as I recall it was in
SF) in an earlier response to you is your best bet.
This complaint exists because the mite is energetically at home on one's
body. Transmission is not everything regarding a settled infectious
disease of this type - the host harbors inherited vitality (animating
"software" or "life force" of that same specie of organism. The remedy
must destroy this vitality to eradicate the chronic infestation. One point
inherent in what I am conveying here is that one can use a remedy to
suppress the expression of the mite (such as neem shampoo, for example) -
but this does not result in resolution, and can actually lead to worse
health problems as the inherited vitality must express internally instead
of as a mite colonization.
Scabies mite is one of the most prevalent and ancient health problems of
humans. Dealing with it is an entreaty to someone as intelligent as
yourself to avail of a remedy which in eradicating the obvious problem
will shift your general picture over time. Such availing will require
patience. The free homeopathic clinic is likely your only way to find
someone with the knowledge and patience to help you. Scabies can be very
challenging as the prescription must be right on the mark to work. If you
are a person who has a "poverty consciousness", and is chilly (wearing
wool caps in summer for example) do mention this to the homeopath who
interviews you. It might lead to the remedy Psorinum (which is actually
made from fluid from a scabies skin lesion). But that is just a shot in
the dark, as mentioned you must seek out that clinic and schedule an appt.
I hope this has been helpful. Good luck.
