Thanks for the insight everyone. I appreciate it. I think I will try
some of the remedies mentioned here. I have already searched online
for seeds and found no suppliers. I am sure it will be almost
impossible for me to find it until it blooms. Until then I will have
contracted Poison Ivy Rash countless times, I'm sure. I have already
had outbreaks 4 times in the last 6 months and I haven't spent nearly
as much time outside as I will be.--- In

there is a manual called the homeopathic treatment
of poison ivy, poison oak and poison sumac. it is by
joel kreisberg. when i purchased it the cost was about
$10.00. it covers about 24-30 rx useful in such
toxicity. it is really a dd on the toxicty and includes
pictures that delineate the locale of the outbreaks
as well as the modalities and symptoms for each rx.
you might do well to purchase a copy if you dont have
a homeopath to work with to help find a rx.
i do know of people whose sensitivity has been remarkably
reduced with the use of homeopathic rx. perhaps you will
be one of those people.

In case no one else mentioned this, Washington Homeopathic in Berkeley, West VA are a wonderful company and have an inexpensive remedy called Poison Ivy. I think it is 3x Rhus tox. It is not a combination remedy, just a low potency that apparently works really well. Check out their website at www.homeopathyworks.com . They sell a LOT of it! t
