Bed-wetting

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

Dear Betty

I was talking to a friend today and conversation came around to Diet Coke etc and she said that they have discovered that her son (about 13) wets the bed should he take anything with aspartame in it!

Thought you should know.

Lots of blessings
Soroush

Soroush,

I was just doing some reading from a doctor who does a monthly newsletter to doctors, called Nutri-Spec, who mentions in one of his letters that Ritalin has bedwetting as a side effect, and it can last years into the teen years, after the use of Ritalin has ceased. Wow! I didn't realize that... I would imagine that most kids are so embarrased about it, that it is not so well known... but thought I'd mention it.
Hope this is helpful.
