Newborn - @ Chris G. - Irene

Hi Chris,
It is interesting then that his wording does not refer to HIS experience
but that of "provers".

What I see in my own use of homeoprophylaxis since 1984, is in agreement
with Hahnemann though I do not use the system in enough doses to cause
provings. I unfortunately do not have neat formal records, I saw no
reason to keep them as it seemed the obvious thing to do and it came as
a great surprise to me that not every homeopathy saw/sees that. It just
seems so obvious that homeoprophylaxis is the only way to resist
whatever it is appropriate take the trouble to resist!

However I can make some conservative estimates on how many animals
may be involved from my side. These are mainly domestic cat. I
influenced the use of homeoprophylaxis through a peer reviewed cat
publication I published for a few years (PawPrint) and there were 10,000
subscribers who were cat fanatics - none of whom ever reported a failure
of the homeoprophylaxis nor an adverse symptom.
I also promoted the use of this among the cat fancy members of Cape
Town - some 100 or so breeders each with an average of 30 cats, and had
the local homeopathic pharmacy make up the remedies from a drop of
vaccine for us to use.
The incidence of clamydia went from endemic to zero right away in all
catteries using it, and the incidence of cat flu did the same where the
cats had not had it before with antibiotic suppression changing it to a
chronic issue. Best of all the problem of "goopy eyes" or other upper
respiratory issues (URI) that breeders usually experience in almost ALL
kittens at some stage - became missing in catteries using HP, as did
sneezing etc typical at 2 or 3 months as the maternal immunity wears off
before the cat's immune system is mature.
All those using it expressed what a 100% change it made in their lives
as breeders. Kitten mortality went way down.

As for my own cats. I have bred about 200 of them, and they go to new
homes only on condition that my approach in homeopathy is followed. None
of them ever got sick from cat flu. My own cats have had
homeoprophylaxis for 2.5 years of the protocol I use for the first
generation born from vaccinated cats or themselves vaccinated and thus
having damaged thymus.
Third generation needs only one week of prophylaxis. I have bred 9
generations and the 14 cats in my house currently do not get cat flu.
Is this remarkable?
Yes because most cats DO get cat flu a some point.

My cats go wherever I take them and I have no fear that they will "pick
up something" on the way such as during a walk in the park on a leash,
or if they meet some other cat on the way. They are resistant due to HP.

I advise the protocols to people on my Catwell (cat health) email list
and to my clients as well. So far one cat died from panleukopenia after
using the homeoprophylaxis protocol.

I mentioned all this as Golden's excellent work is being questioned due
to lack of prevalence of the diseases for which HP was used. when
reading the details of his work it is clear thatr the HP is streets
ahead of the vaccines anyway and he does show some disease incidence in
his work that I read a while ago, it was not missing altogether.

However lack of disease incidence is does not apply here to cats:
The incidence of URI in cats and kittens over their lifetime is
extremely high - it might be 100% for all I know but let's just say
"extremely high" or "significant" as I have no formal numbers - and
that's including conventionally vaccinated cats.

In one small area I do have statistics, it is in Bordetella
bronchiseptica. This is 100% fatal in kittens without HP, who are
exposed to infected cats (and 50% fatal in adult cats using conventional
approach) - and 100% nonfatal so far with HP in kittens/cats later
exposed to actively infected cats. So far that is 10 newborn kitten
cases exposed but safe using HP - and 27 older kittens/cats using HP,
then exposed and remaining healthy.

It is my view that homeoprophylaxis is a system to strengthen the life
force in specific areas, as if there is some kind of aura equivalent
that might otherwise get dented easily (by disease) - but the HP
prevents this by making that aspect of the life force more strong -
more resistant.
This is true homeoprophylaxis and is not isopathy. AFTER a disease sets
in, if you THEN only use a remedy identical to the disease it will NOT
work as effectively as it does in prevention - because THEN it is
isopathy - the life force is already damaged - and it is too later to
strengthen it with resistance - it now needs a simillimum to straighten
out the dents.

I DO use a combination URI 30C remedy (made in 1996) in cats when they
get cat flu from any of the four included URI issues or from ANY other
URI. It works excellently. This is in my opinion because this
particular mixed remedy is closer to a simillimum as opposed to isopathic.
The same does not occur for Bordetella bronchiseptica 30C remedy. thaty
one is too identical to the actual disease, too isopathic - it does
nothing at 30C AFTER illness sets in though it is great at prophylaxis.
(I generally use 30c for prophylaxis - not a protocol as Golden uses.)

After disease sets in the 30c remedy will help somewhat - but is not a
patch on the efficacy of the 30C remedy used prophylactically.
Same with Pyrogenium used by HP versus during infection.
IT will prevent pyometra or blood poisoning after dental surgery or
peritonitis from infected umbilical cord etc - very well. But AFTER
infection you need a lot more potency to regain lost health.

So I find that 30C is prophylactic to strengthen the life force - but
200c or 1M is needed to help after illness has skewed the life force,
and even then one usually needs a simillimum as well.

The most spectacular demonstration of HP I have seen has been the
Bordetella-bronchiseptica one. This one has 100% death of exposed
newborns with no HP (even if you follow with simillimum after illness
sets in) and 100% health of exposed newborns with HP. Seeing entire
litters of kittens die is/was heartbreaking, and they did so too fast to
be saved with repertorized simillimum - and that's what was happening
before we had the 30c remedy to prevent them. It's relatively new.
If you ever need a demo of HP at work - that one is definitely
convincing.
It is homeoprophylaxis and not isopathy. Isopathy only applies if two
illnesses are meeting head-on. Prophylaxis does not put a disease in
place - it puts resistance to disease in place. Some of us (and some of
my better bred cats) have that already - but a remedy can induce it or
strengthen it.

Namaste,
Irene
