ear problem

Hi all,

would appreciate your objective on patient with slight earache, worse left
side, sensation of something in left ear, bubbling/bursting sensation both
ears when yawning and popping sensation sometimes left ear alone when not
eating/yawning.
Tightless left jaw and feeling of some internal heat from along jaw up to
left temple/forehead and slight tightness downto left shoulder, some
sneezing, slight watering left eye and feeling of mucous going down left
side of throat. Some swollen feeling left inside nose and roof of mouth.

Have used merc 30 with slight improvement. Others I have looked at are
thuj,
nat c, sulph, euph, graph.
patient has slight cracking of heels but nowhere else and graph didn't seem
right fit.

Patient feels that tooth problem with root canal lower left jaw is source
of
problem but the tooth has ben redone twice and nothing found. Problem
recurrs every few months.

Removal of tooth is not an option at the moment. Is there anything else you
can suggest to do re remedy to help toothe itself or overall? I looked at
pyrogenium but that did not seem right either [but having not used it
previous maybe someone can tell me of instances they have found it
successful in relation to teeth.
patient has also swelling of lachrymal duct left eye.

Dear Beverley, a number of remedies are going to come through as there are
no real modalities and the info is a bit sparse, however....

Hypericum
Kalmia
Manganum
Phosphorus
Silicea

come to mind

If the tooth area is good and pain is travelling up and down it sounds like
nerves are involved? HYPERICUM would be useful here, damage might have been
done during dental work. KALMIA also affects nerves but usually R. side

MANGANUM - everything affects the ears, noises in the ears, toothache into
the ears, pain lower jaws to temples, rough and cracked skin.

PHOSPHORUS - L side, sensation as if something lodged in ear, heat in the
face, watery eyes

SILICEA - affects nerves, affects tear ducts, swollen left tear duct, noises
and things in ears, pain lower jaw, pain face extending to chest, affinity
with teeth and ears, cracks in skin, one sided swellings in the mouth. Seems
the best choice unless you can tell us more

You ask for help with the tooth itself - I would always have mother tincture
of PLANTAGO and CALENDULA in.

I am sure we are all tempted to ask for more information but hope this
helps.
