Luc de Schepper really doesn’t need any introduction anymore. He became
quite well known in a very short time by bringing to the attention ‘the
lost treasures” of Hahnemann in his Parisian period. This was Hahnemann’s
most valuable period, during which he acquired many important insights and
developed new methods!
Every homeopath can solve ‘standard’ cases with ‘standard’ dosage. But when
treating hyper-sensitive and hypo-sensitive patients the results are often
disappointing and a search for other more effective remedies usually has
little effect. Especially for these cases Hahnemann developed his advanced
methods of dosage, but unfortunately this ‘Treasure of Hahnemann’ never
became well-known.
Luc taught me to not only work with the remedy as the simillimum, but to
also individualise the way the remedy is dosed and used by the patient. Now
I get the best results ever with classical homeopathy, … exactly as
Hahnemann meant it to be. (Christine de Vogel, Heerde, NL)
After a short introduction the seminar starts with a Live Case. In relation
to this case the method of analysis is discussed: the hierarchy of symptoms
and the way to get to the ‘Core Delusion’ (when treating a single layer
case). Other subjects that will be discussed are the psychological analysis
of cases in general and an explanation of terms like: Mask and Shadow side,
Long Positive Compensation Pathway and Short Negative Consequence Pathway,
Causation, Childhood Crime and more. Luc brings ‘old-fashioned’ materia
medica back to life and gives it a new and up to date meaning, so it fits
our modern day society with very often severe mental/emotional pathology
(often combined with indistinct physical symptoms). The second day of the
seminar will also start with a Live Case.

A special subject for this seminar will be: ‘10 Intra-Uterine Questions’.
By profoundly investigating the time of the pregnancy one can acquire
important insights into the causes, the compensations and the necessary
treatment of ‘The Problem Child’, for example with a diagnosis 'Autism'
(ADD, ADHD, ODD, ASD etc.)
The seminar will be stocked with these subjects, so this will make for long
days. Please remember to bring a repertory and a Materia Medica to work on
the cases. Do come on time, as the seminar will start early.

The language of this seminar will be English as we expect international
participants. Luc will speak clearly and articulately for those whose
native language isn’t English. However as he is fluent in English, he will
be able to cover more ground.

Preparations

If participants to the seminar want to prepare themselves, it is advised to
study the book ‘Achieving and Maintaining the Simillimum’. Luc will start
at the level of the book, assuming that this is acquired knowledge.

Homeopathy students are advised to read the book ‘Hahnemann Revisited’ if
they want to be able to follow the seminar well. (Questions about basic
theory presumed familiar to the audience will be ignored, this to insure a
Post Graduate level).
This seminar is meant as an ‘Advanced seminar’ aimed at the every day
practice of a working homeopath and will serve as an example of what is to
be expected of a possible Post Graduate program.
