Notes from a Seminar (2 1/2 years ago) when R. Sankaran presented some video
cases:
Woman with a H. pylori infection and acidity describes a recent occurrence.
Started vomiting. Was completely all right, then it suddenly came up and she
had to go to the hospital. It comes on and off and she ends up in the
hospital on antibiotics.
Other symptoms:
- palpitation at night with perspiration.
- fear with pain in stomach; heavy feeling

miasm category¹ because of its sudden onset)
Client describes her other symptoms:
- slight dandruff
- slight sinus problem
- slight cold
- slight acne on back
-stool is not easy but not difficult
(Rajan said that the Œshopping list¹ way that the client described her
symptoms puts him in mind of a mineral remedy; ie. because he says minerals
are all about structure).
She describes her stomach symptoms: 'Nausea every morning upon waking. Have
to sit erect.'
(Rajan¹s rubric translation: ŒSTOMACH/ Nausea/ morning/ waking on¹ and
STOMACH/ Nausea/ sitting/ upright, amel.; The remedy (?) is in both)
Describe yourself:
Hyper person with lots of stress and anxieties; Very sensitive and helpful
and can be irritable. Thinks herself too loving and trusting; Gets hurt very
easily.
She also described herself as an extrovert who likes to socialize and be
busy.

(Rajan said that she lied here; He then found out that she fell in love and
the man moved; The parents were opposed to the marriage; She kept in touch
but wouldn¹t move away from the parents)
What about this man?
- She liked that man because she felt secure; because he was naive and not
manipulative.
Rajan¹s analysis:
(?) which is the first remedy in the periodic table. It falls under the
Œacute miasm¹ and is part of the mineral kingdom (He felt the client needed
a mineral remedy because of her structured, Œshopping list¹ response to his
questions.
- The client lacks support of her mother (which is a needed structure).
- client wants to be attached or feels lost; Lost in space (see dreams).
- there was extreme anxiety about separating from mother and sister.
(?) has to be blended with someone else to survive (think of (?) that needs
a chemical partner)
- client¹s art is also about blending and also dreams.
- There is fear of separation.
Sankaran gave her (?).
Follow-up visit:
-Acid and burning gone
- two years later changes in nature; not as attached and doesn¹t need other
people so much.
Rajan¹s final thoughts:
-(?) is the border between energy and matter.
- The point between lost and space and grounded.
- It is like a child that is still in the womb of the mother.
- It is before infancy
- It is the beginning.
Some of my own thoughts:
I found it a interesting that the client had dreams of space and liked
space science fiction, and that the remedy is listed under the rubric
ŒMIND/Spaced-out feeling¹ as a GRADE THREE in the Synthesis repertory.
Some of other highly grade Œmind¹ rubrics that I found were:
-ŒMIND/ Separated/ world, from the/ he is separated¹ (Gr. 3)
- ŒMIND/ Separated/ body; soul, body is separated from (Gr. 2)
- ŒMIND/ Tranquility, serenity, calmness (Gr. 2)
Also, for Ardavan¹s practice case I came up with the following rubrics:
MIND/ Delusions/ god/ presence of god/ he is in the
MIND/ Love/ exalted, humanity for
MIND/ Delusions/ consciousness/ higher, consciousness/ unification with
MIND/ Concentration difficult/ air, in open air amel.
MIND/ Confusion/ identity, as to his/ duality/ sense of, sexual identity
MIND/ Mistakes in writing/ omitting letters
/ speaking, in/ names, call things by wrong names
/ speaking in, spelling in
MIND/ Delusions/ beautiful, things look
MIND/ Philosophy/ ability for/ reveries, great inclination to philosophical
GEN/ Morning/ waking on (Although Hydrogen is not in this rubric; just the
morning agg.)
GEN/ Air/ open air amel
Thanks for the exercise Ardavan, and thanks to everyone who posted about the
remedy. It is now so much more familiar to me!
Namaste,
Mary-anne Black
