1918 flu in the news today!!

Dear all -- lookit what's in the US national news today!

A short, to the point letter in the Boston Globe (letter@globe.com) right
away with the main facts (homeo cured way more than anything else, etc.) could do
big things for homeopathy (if they publish it). Plus, someone write an
article for publication in the Globe (and other papers this piece made it into)?

Regarding the article on the 1918 flu/Spanish flu (Seth Borenstein, AP)
Thursday, describing a scientific breakthrough in how to fight such a flu in
the future -- I'd like to point out/remind that the 1918 flu was trounced in
its own time with the medical system homeopathy. From "The Faces of
Homeopathy", by Julian Winston (Great Auk Press, New Zealand, 2000): "Dean W. A.
Pearson of Philadelphia collected 26,795 cases of influenza treated by
homeopathic physicians with a mortality of 1.05%, while the average old school mortality
is 30%. . . In a plant of 8,000 workers we had only one death. The patients
were not drugged to death. Gelsemium was practically the only remedy used. We
used no aspirin and no vaccines. -Frank Wieland, MD, Chicago. . . Fifteen
hundred cases were reported at the Homeopathic Medical Society of the District of
Columbia with but fifteen deaths. Recoveries in the National Homeopathic
Hospital were 100%.-E. F. Sappington, M. D., Philadelphia." Etc., etc.
Hard to argue with such stats. I sure have treated my flus sucessfully
over the last 20 years with homeopathic remedies (since I first learned
about homeopathy). Rems and self-helpbooks are in health food stores. Worth a
