Request for help with name or rep. rubric
Re: Request for help with name or rep. rubric
Hi,
Might be it is "LIPOMA"
A patient had similar problem,
lipoma on both elbows, no apparent reason.
We could link, it came consequent to using virgin olive oil,
bought from Dollar shop. It was salad oil but he used it for cooking.
And Lipoma cleared on its own after stopping Olive oil.
There are 3 grades of olive oil.
1. Salad oil,
2. For Massage,
3. For Cooking.
Only cooking oil can be heated.
Other 2 if used for cooking, involving heating,
it might be getting converted to transfats.
If you are taking any Olive oil, extra virgin salad oil,
& used it by heating, such problems arise temporarily.
Discontinue olive oil & problem might clear on its own.
Problems are more if it is bought from Dollar shop.
Most products from Dollar shops are of inferior quality.
May be this is not the case with you.
Baryta Carb seems specific for lipoma.
Also Mag Sulph 200, 1 dose bed time for 15 days might clear it.
This symptom is not listed or found in Materia medica,
but I have seen it helps.

Re: Request for help with name or rep. rubric
It is given in repertories and materia medica - check under Tumors - Fatty
In Knerr it is - Agar, Amm.m, Bar.c,Bell, Calc, Croc, Graph, Lapis,
Phos, Phyt.
I have had Bar.c fail so many times - even for the ones on neck which
seems to be the best location for Bar.c.
Take the symptoms and go from generals - if you do not know what it is
exactly, lipoma may not be a good place to start...Tumors, painful
might be a good place and then modalities...
Conium, Phyt might be worth considering as well.

Hi,
I have lived in a mediterranean country for a while, in a place where
they are very finicky about their olive oil on one hand, and use it
almost exclusively on the other.
I have never heard anything about it like you post below.
Where did you get that information?
Regards
Luise

Re: Request for help with name or rep. rubric
I asked a physician friend about this -- she also thought Lipoma -- one
that's been traumatized somehow, which would explain the pain. She said ice
might help. In that case, might Arnica help with the pain? Interesting -- I
would never have thought that lipomas would suffer from trauma, but I guess
it makes sense.

Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to ask your
physician friend! as for the rx - there is more to the case than
this and I wondered what it is called, in order to rep it together
with the other sx.

Re: Request for help with name or rep. rubric
thank you for sharing your experience and knowledge, if it's so,
there is no need to rep it. does a lipoma hurt to touch or pressure?

Probably lipomas. Ive got lots! I think they are virtually impossible
to get rid of with remedies. Ive treated a few people with multiple
lipomatosis with no significant result. Anyone else had better experience?
