Re: Request for help with name or rep. rubric

Post by maly suissa »

The phenomenon I'm inquiring about, is a smooth elliptical "thing" under the skin, which can be moved around with the finger. It is located near the right sacro-iliac junction and hurts under (even slight) pressure. I've seen many times something like this in youngsters, located at the side of the external throat and not hurting, but this is the first time I see it in this odd above mentioned location and hurting to touch.

1. Does allopathy have a name for it?
2. Does homeopathy have a rubric for it?

Thanks in advance for any reply,
Maly

Request for help with name or rep. rubric

Post by Shannon Nelson »

Could it be an inflamed blood vessel valve? That's the explanation I
was given for a *maybe* similar thing (also painful to touch) on my
finger years back; but that happened as result of a sort of pressure
injury, and the back would seem an odd place to do that.?? And
probably not the case on the external throat... How long has it been
there, and was there anything notable before it was noticed? (Any fall
or bang?)

It could be a lipoma or a lymph node-
is it soft or hard? what is the approximate size?

Shannon, didn't your case have a red (or any other) discoloration
(since it was connected somehow to a blood vessel)?

The case I've seen does not show any visible change in the color of
the skin.

As I remember the module was purplish, at least part of the time. But
I think part of the time (when it was less irritated?) there wasn't any
color change, just a little bump visible under the skin. I think I'm
remembering this right...
