Hi,
Does anyone have any experience treating side effects of Radiation Therapy.
I have a patient who is on radiation therapy for Ca. Prostate.
Thanks,
Rina

Yes. It's possible to treat side effects from chemo or radiation quite
well. It's usually not a perfect result, but the patient will come through
without most of the severe side-effects that are typical. Of course the
treatments are a maintaining cause as long as they continue. The only
downside I've seen is oncologists who think the patient has done so
brilliantly under their treatment that they propose a second round even
stronger than the first!! -- Not good!!! The patient has to develop good
boundaries and be able to say "No" to the docs.
I use a remedy known to deal with drug or radiation toxicity, according to
the side effects that are most likely from the form of treatment to be
given, and have the patient take the remedy prophylactically, usually in
12c, water potency, succussed a couple of times before each dose, at least
once before and after each treatment, and more if needed. If it seems
indicated by the patient's needs, you can increase the potency (30c,
200c.,..), but 12c often works really well, and I usually am treating the
patient for the cancer as well, and don't want the chemo remedy interfering
with the cancer remedy -- so use radically different potencies for both,
and, of course, have them taken at different times.
