Where is the best place to study homeopathy?

Post by homeofan@yahoo.ca . »

Hi Gabrielle, sounds interesting but I feel Homoeopathy education is individualized just like its practising. So I wonder how you can compare schools and practitioners from different countries?

As a teacher, I am often asked the question "Which are the best
homeopathic schools?" "Which country provides the best homeopathic
education?"

Various schools around the world are extremely diverse; each having
their own style and flavor; and the level of education differs
significantly, from country to country.

Yet there is no international standardization or way of comparing
education.

As a potential solution, we created the first ever international
homeopathic competition for homeopathic schools and practitioners.

Please help us by letting us know how important you think this is and
your feedback. Visit www.ihmle.com for details.

Warmly

This looks wonderful! I hope you'll let us know what results come from
it--I don't mean about individuals' results, but about any overall
pattern(s) that might come out.

I think this could be basis for a wonderful ongoing, multi-faceted
discussion in many places--will you have write-ups put in the
homeopathic professional journals? (Personally I feel a little leery
of too much "standardization"--variety is a *good* thing!--but emphasis
on "minimum standards" would seem like a very good thing. Just IMO.)

Dear Shanon& Gabrielle
About goodness of variety and minimum standards, I quiet agree with Shanon. Actually shanon has told exactly and nicely the best reason for having such competition (IHMSC - www.ihmle.com). But still the question is "what is that minimum standard?" Nobody has answered it in Homeopathy till date. So the first step is to share personal experiences in this regards. So lets change your question and get one step back and request everybody to share their views about the minimum standard for a Homeopathy practitioner in any corner of world.
