Does anyone know if endometriosis ceases to be a problem at menopause.
Thanks

Re: endometriosis and menopause
From http://www.ivf.com/endoassn.html There are other sites if google
Menopause also generally ends the activity of mild or moderate
endometriosis. Even after radical surgery or menopause, however, a
severe case of endometriosis can be reactivated by estrogen
replacement therapy or continued hormone production after menopause.
Some authorities suggest no replacement hormone be given for a short
period (3-9 months) after hysterectomy and removal of the ovaries for
endometriosis.
I believe that the scarring and adhesions produced by endometriosis
would remain, Jean

Dear Jean,
Thanks for that information. My patient is 45 now and we were just
wondering. She has done well on her constitutional remedy and Thios 6 has
made a big difference to her menses. She wants to stay on the Thios and I
want her to take a break and see what happens!!

Hi Rochelle,
There is a *tendency* for that.
There is an article on my site (www.bar-do.net)by Dr. Suriya Osman,
whom I think you know, about "Endometriosis and Menstrual Pain).
Regards
Luise .

Re: endometriosis and menopause
Dear Rochelle and all
The monthly pain will stop because the monthly bleeding followed by the
monthly resolution and adhesion formation will stop.
In severe cases, the will still be bowel problems and pains .
Also , emotional issues that the pain dealt with ( focusing on pain
takes the mind off emotional and other issues) will come back
