hypoglycemia

Post by bowtie_bitch_81 »

hi there,
i'm convinced this is my problem.. how do you treat it with homeopathy?
i already bought "complete pititary remedy".. besides always having
food and drink on hand what can be done? my dad has type2, my mom ans
sister very likely are hypoglycemic also. i remember having this
problem when i was in my early teens. i could kill someone if they are
keeping me from food during an attack- i get stupid, pissed and mean.
i shake and sweat. i get very nauseaus if i don't eat or drink with in
moments of the urge. i'm 5' 8", 136lbs, i;m flabby but not over
weight. is this a precursor to type2?
thanks in advance- danielle

homeopathy can help rebalance your body chemistry,
but you will need to have your case taken professionally
and work with you constitutional remedy.

Hi Danielle,
Hypoglycemia can be hugely helped by homeopathy, but the only way I'm
aware of to do that, is with constitutional treatment, which one
*can't* do to oneself. I recall you were treating yourself for
something--but have you also found a homeopath that you can work with?
Unless your problems were really trivial (which seems not to be the
case), you really should not be trying to treat them yourself; the
chances of it working out for you are something like slim-to-none...

But there's lots that you can do to help manage your blood sugar levels
in the mean time. Have you read up on the matter from a nutritional
standpoint? (Small meals spread throughout the day; adequate protein
with *every* meal or snack; absolutely no refined foods--sugar or
flour; and some people even need to eliminate fruit, at least for a
time; consider whether there are foods you are allergic to, and learn
how to avoid them; eat *lots* of veggies several times daily... There
are specific herbs and nutrients that can also help stabilize blood
sugar, but you should read up on that, perhaps at your local health
food store! Maybe you have a naturapath or nutritionist or other
holistic practitioner that can help you with diet management?
