hi all, i have been practicing homeopathy for about 22 years now and i dare
say that to date, i am not an expert. like everything else in our society,
commercialism has crept in to destroy true value. homeopathy has not been
spared. i often cry at the health food store when i see homeopathic formulas that
have been put together for no apparent reason other that to put a name on it
like "acid reflux" so that it can be marketed to anyone without regard to
repping the case. i agree with the previous post that many do not fully
understand how to use homeopathy. i think that the "h" man would turn in his grave.
homeopathic remedies marketed as quick fix remedies "drugs" have become a
tremendously profitable business. the pure homeopathic prescription is far and
few between and imho is the best.
homeopathic practitioners today though don't really care about purity. they
care about speed. it takes a long time to rep a case history. however, today,
we use computers, charts and in 2-3 minutes (i know i'm exaggerating) a
remedy is given. what happened to the constitutional remedy? hardly any
practitioners spend the time to find out what it is. my fear is that many who practice
homeopathy today do not even know how to find a constitutional remedy.
anyway, that's what i have to say. dr. mac

Until they have these memberships, health funds will not provide any patients or clients with refunds on consultation fees.
This however does not stop any untrained or partially trained person
from hanging out a shingle and practising outside the system. There is
not yet legislated protection for the title of homeopath that would stop
this.
