Re: Fungus infection
Hi Aamir,
This list isn't really a good place to seek prescribing advice. To
cure any chronic problem thru homeopathy, you would need to see a good
homeopath and have a full casetaking, and appropriate follow-up, which
would be infrequent once a good remedy is found, but would probably
cover a period of months or years for any long-standing trouble. If
you'd like help locating a homeopath, let us know where you are and
perhaps someone can offer contacts?
Best wishes,
Shannon

Re: Fungus infection
dear aamir,
having had a skin condition that was most likely a fungal infection,
it was cured w/homeopathy but took a few years. at first, remedies
seemed to aggravae the condition, then ameliorated it. it took
a good 3-5 yrs before complete relief.
i couldnt say whether the practitioner i saw at the time was the
problem or whether the condition, which was so old and ingrained,
just required a long healing period. i do know that fungal infections
are difficult to work with. so have some patience and hang in there

Ah, I see.
Well, what makes you feel that he doesn't understand your problem? A
long-standing skin problem would (at least the only method I have
learned) need to be treated through a "constitutional" approach--taking
into consideration your *entire* situation and "state", health,
emotions, etc., etc., and the skin symptoms might not be the first part
to respond... Or is it something like a communication difficulty or
lack of responsiveness that makes you feel he's treating the wrong
thing?

Also skin conditions in general can be the last part of a case to
resolve, since the skin is what receives the burden of cleansings of
the other, more essential organs!

Re: Fungus infection
I had what I suspect was a fungal dermatitis that grew into
scalded/burned tissue. I put topicals on it for years(21) because of
the discoloration and in the winter it would become dry, crack, and
and bleed. The only homeopath I ever went to told me to not use
topicals anymore(suppression?) so I quit. The dryness and bleeding
went away within 2 years and the dermatitis itself blended in with
the surrounding tissue. Paul Autrey
