I have no personal experience one way or the other on this, but was
taught emphatically that remedies to not interfere with medications,
but occasionally the other way 'round. (Not usually that either, tho.)
Some people have talked about using low potency of a med in order to
help manage side-effects, and apparently the med continues to do its
work, just without such bad side effects. Just FWIW...

Question on potential remedy interaction with allopathic medication
Re: Question on potential remedy interaction with allopathic medication
Shannon,
I'd like to start by apologizing for my accidental multiple posts. I'm
still getting the hang of posting here.
There was no improvement after this particular remedy. Her blood
pressure and pulse spiked -- dangerously so -- and she required
aggressive medical intervention to save her life. The days that
followed were tense at best, and it was obvious that this remedy at
that dose only served to worsen her situation. In the weeks that
followed, her cardiac conditon was a mess.
We're still not entirely sure if it was an interaction with the meds,
or a case where the remedy was simply too strong. Either way, it
seemed relevant to your thread.

Re: Question on potential remedy interaction with allopathic medication
Dear Rosemary,
I read your question, if the patient is confident on homeopathy there is no
problems.
Also how long the patient was on Homeopathy.
I have treated many patients who are on many Allopathic med's, what I do
usally I ask them to take Homeopathic med's after 30 or 45 minutes, after
taking the Allopathic meds, but when patient is in critical care I donot give
homeopathy until they leave the hospital.
In India I did some of my practical , since in India both Homeopath and
Allopath work together there was no question came up, Rosemary , I think we
the Northamerican's are only having these type of problems.
with regards.

Ellen and Rosemary,
It isn't exactly a problem with stability with Warafin, it's that lab values on some people can swing wildly -too high too low etc. But their doc will or should monitor them weekly and adjust the dose as needed. I don't see that the needed remedy will interfer with the drug or that the drug will mess with with your remedy, Rosemary. Just ask your client what labs are being done and how often-should at least be weekly.
