A transition from student to practitioner is always hard.
You should have seen me after I graduated from medical school and went for
my first locum as a GP in a series of villages............no more referrals,
no more colleagues and superiors around, no one to ask, even not a nurse
with me, yet I had 3 years of full time clinical experience in hospitals and
consulting rooms as a medical student.
All my textbooks were on the desk, the resuscitation bag next to the bed,
the ambulance phone number pasted on the phone...........then I opened the
door of the waiting room, and it was full of people..........I almost puked,
then brought the first one in.
Guess what, they all survived..........

Yes I have checked the site out. I am a student of the BIH, what do
you think is wrong with this site? They use this site for their
case studies I believe. Thanks Kathy
