Education of a homeopath--local or distance education

Post by kimberlyanderson7654 »

Dear Members,

Thank you all for your sincere advice! A very warm heartfelt thank
you.

The shared thoughts on homeopathy and Oriental Medicine has sparked
rather intensive thinking on my part.

Although ND training may provide a good biomedical foundation, I am
much more interested in 'Energy' medicine. Perhaps entering a 3/4
year program to gain licensure in acupuncture/TCM while
simultaneously studying homeopathy would serve my interests, present
and future better.

I have a friend who lives in Minneapolis, MN that has heard that the
homeopathy school there seems to be pretty good. She has not had
direct experience with the school. Perusing the school's website--
the credentials and experience of the faculty seem to be above
average. And there are 2 TCM schools there as well. (a little cold
up North?!)

Would studying homeopathy at a local school(such as above) be well
worth the large monetary investment versus the much less expensive
distance learning options?

Thank you again for all of your help.

Warm wishes to everyone!
