need repping help

I have limited reference books, just the old fashioned stuff. can someone give
me some help...looking for remedies that have trembling lips when angry.
Also...remedies that feel like" blowing their brains out" from someone elses
stupidity whether alone with the person or in company. Would that be
simple.."faultfinding" or "censorius".

This client has a brain tumor on left side..which you can't see of
course...but convulsions that arise in the middle of sleep and leave the right
hand numb. Is numbness here a common symptom to brain tumors so of no value? I
know convulsions worse from sleep is a good symptom..but since we don't know
the tumor is on left side except for mri..can worse left side be used in
repping?

Hi Carol-
Was stumbling on Stram all over the place when I looked this up- ( in
my old fashioned reference books - so if you are looking for
computerized aid - this might not be useful).
I would consider Rage rather than Faultfinding or Censorious-
Convulsions and numbness are important- I would not give too much
weight to this being left sided...you can consider this for
confirmation ( in fact even tumors can only be considered only at the
last since none of the medicines ever produced a tumor- so all of this
is only clinical experience)

That leaves us with the mentals + convulsions and other physicals and
to confirm you can use tumors etc.

Rage , wants to kill - Stram
( also Rage unmanageable , uncontrollable-Stram) Other remedies that
come up are Ars, Cup.m, Zinc, Plumb, Aur.met)
You could use brain abscesses rubric along with tumors.

Some of the symptoms are going to be pressure symptoms and could be
caused by cysts and abscesses and hence this rubric.

Hippoz is worth taking a look at- Of course marked anger and brain
tumors is a good marker for Tuberculinum. ( Ars, Phos, Tuberculinum
connection needs to be thought of)
think of modalities, concomitants- sometimes in dealing with
concomitants you need to take a high level look at the symptoms - what
all occur together than how individually in detail they look like-

I can't read this - 'remedies that feel like "blowing their brains
out"' without thinking Nat sulph (check out Kent) - although I think
that is usually following a head injury - mind you, tumours often
follow an injury....

Hi,

I would not discount Staph. (depending on 'exciting cause' because they 'internalise'
their anger and turn it against themselves). Also Nux vom.and Hepar, along with the
Nat.sulph and Stram; but really need the modalities and generals to confirm which rx
is best fit tho'.

figure of speech. I realize that "the patient's words" are very
important and often hold the key, but at the same time, "sometimes a
cigar is just a cigar", and sometimes people just use expressions that
have come to them from elsewhere. It's an odd reaction--a little
extreme, for instance!--in response to something as simple as "someone
else's stupidity". Does she use the phrase repeatedly, or has she
confirmed that yes, that really *is* the feeling? If not, I would
ask... I'm not saying to *discount* the expression, only that I would
want to poke at it more, before hanging remedy selection on it.

For what it's worth, the cat I know with these symptoms was helped somewhat
by Bell and Agar(at different times over several years -- she also had very
pronounced twitching of her extremities), but when an overwhelming change in
her life produced a clear Stramonium situation, she was definitely cured by
Stramonium, and is now a funny, loving, character of a kitty who LICKS
(kisses) her owners affectionately instead of biting and puncturing them!
She's also now very clearly a happy, contented cat, instead of a nervous,
easily triggered one.
