My brain's gone dead??? Update

Post by arista000 »

Dear Rochelle and All -

this is just a thought, of course (and I like to share them simply
because I find that the replies, the exchange of ideas, still are and
always will be the best possible education).

Have you thought of giving him that intermediary "single dose" of
Sulphur that Hahnemann, I believe, recommended when a remedy "stops
working"? (Since Causticum did the trick the first time perhaps it is
the right remedy.)

Or perhaps changing the potency?
How about LM?

Anyway I wish you the best of luck.

Causticum in the end and it got rid of his acne for about 3 weeks. It
has returned this week and I have repeated the Causticum at the same
200C potency. I haven't discarded the idea of a Baryta for him in
the future though for various reasons. However the scarring from the
acne is a definite purple/blue colour. So I am asking if anyone have
any suggestions to help clear this discolouration up.

Dear A,

Sulphur is really all wrong for this lad who showers and changes his clothes because he likes to be clean 3 x a day!!! I always repeat a potency once to see if there is anymore life in it. I would then consider going up to a 1M. (I don't do LMs as the C potency seems to work fine for me and my patients) He could have used up the Rx because he was fired from his job and was upset about the injustice of it. He has now got another job and a place to go to college and train as a gym instructor from September. I have to say that I have never used Sulphur as an intermediary Rx . What potency do you use? I am more likely to use a nosode.

It was actually the purple/blue acne marks I was hoping someone may be able to give me some advice about.

Regards
Rochelle

Yes, I know the general picture doesn't fit Sulphur. I wasn't
suggesting it as particularly (or at all) indicated in this case as
such - only as a supposedly effective general "intermediary". (I have
never used it as such, but I know that some homoeopaths do abide by
that Hahnemann's "precept". In fact, I'd be interested in hearing
about any experiences in that regard.)

I have so far used only 30 C and 200 C. (But, again, not as an
"intermediary".)

All the best,

Arista

i would have to double check, but I believe it was a case in which silica
had ceased to
work and I gave sulphur as an intermediary and then followed with silica
and had a return of great results.

Rochelle,
I just happened across:
Skin, eruptions, pustules, leaving blue spots--rheum. Do you have
information on that, or want me to try to send any?
(Why on earth does he shower three times a day--is he in sports or
anything?)

Hi Bonnie,
If you can include a little snippet of the post you're replying to,
that will make it more comprehensible to some of us. I'm curious what
you're addressing here?
Best,
Shannon

Dear Shannon,
Thanks for that I will look into it. It is not a Rx I have in stock but that is not a problem.

I think the showering is a bit OCD and I have used the rubric RUV, Mind; phen; washing, bathing; desire for; cleanliness, mania for:, am-i[1], ars[1], clad-r[1], herin[1], ignis[1], posit[1], sep[1], sil[1], sulph[1], tax[1], uran[1]
Yes he is often at the gym wanting to bulk out but I have persuaded him that creatine is not the way to do it which was what he had just started!!
