I found it in EH Michelle and Bonnie
Lactic acid : a girl is a girl is a girl
by jan scholten and marguerite pelt, holland
Lacticum acidum
Lactic acid consists of two components.
An Acid stands for activity/hurriedness and its polarity exhaustion.
- exhaustion
- activity, hurry
- fresh, extroverted
- aggressive, fighting
- desire for unity, eternally and totally
- isolation, apathy
Generals
Type: blond, lean
Localisation: right
Weather: agg. cold, agg. frost (2), agg. cloudy, amel. wind, amel. fresh
air
Desire: salt, fish, sour, soda pop
Aversion: sour, warm foods and drinks, spicy (2)
Agg: sour, vinegar, fruit
Menses: intermittent, late, dark, clotted
Sleep: sleeplessness
Complaints
Burning and biting pains
Aphthae and salivation
Diarrhoea: sour, excoriating, watery, not offensive,
forcible with much flatus.
Sore nates
Bleeding piles and anus fissure.
Lacticum is a remedy for girlish people.
They like to play with dolls and dress like girls with ribbons and
ponytails.
- childish: dependent, not fully grown: every change in life to more
independence and responsibility is a possible problem (college, job). They
want support and compliments. Of course the opposite is also possible: then
they don't want to be treated as a little girl.
- feminine: woman are allowed to behave in a more childish manner in our
society, and in sexual abuse there is often a stagnation of the emotional
development. So it is understandable that woman need lacticums more often
then men. They also have a more lactic acid physiologically (in the breast
feeding and the vagina).
- hyperventilation: the independence can lead to fears and
hyperventilation.
The fears are not specific and an expression of the need for support.
Generals
Weather: warm type, agg. heat, amel. fresh air (2)
Time: agg. 5 PM
Desire: sweet, milk. Aversion: sweet, milk
Agg.: fasting (3). Amel.: eating (2)
Complaints
Hypoglycaemia: even more pronounced than in Sulphur or Phosphor. Diabetes
mellitus.
As a baby lacticum patients need to be fed every hour. Grown ups cannot
stand on their own feet.
Trembling, vertigo, weakness are complaints that go with hypoglycaemia.
Painful mammae, swollen nipples agg. before menses. Small and insensible
mammae (as in a girl). Problems with the lactation, too much or too little
breast feeding, Mastitis
Nausea amel. eating (3), agg. morning, agg. pregnancy
Eczema on wrists, hollow of the knees and elbows, under the mammae.
Acidum Lacticum
Exhaustion, apathy, girlish
Activity, hurry, Childish
Fresh, extroverted, Feminine
Aggressive Dependent
Isolation
Desire for unity
Acidum + Lacticum
The eternal girl
A real girl
The child wife
Fighting for her position as a girl
Active in her position as a girl
Exhausted as a girl
Isolated as a girl
Lactic acid
The essence is "the eternal girl, the real girl".
Mind
Patients needing this remedy are childish and immature. They would like to
stay a child, a girl all their life.
They can behave in a childish manner with a high pitched voice. In children
you see a desire to play with dolls, playing 'mother', clothing, feeding and
putting their dolls to bed. They are attached to their mother. They weep
easily, are "sweet", childish but can also be sharp. Affection (add in the
rubric).
As an adult they have no desire for responsibility, yes even avoid it. If
supported and told what to do, they can achieve results, especially if they
are praised. But on their own they prefer to avoid tasks and criticism. They
are afraid to make mistakes.
Generals
Weather: warm amel. fresh air
Sweat: profuse, sour, in axillae and on hands
Time: agg. morning agg. 5 PM
Desire: milk (3), porridge, sour (2), buttermilk (2), sweets, fluids
Aversion: sour, sweet, mother's milk
Agg.: smoking, sweet, fasting (3)
Amel.: sweet (3) eating (3)

sensations of fainting
Hypotension

Sore throat, lump feeling in throat
Swollen, painful mammae agg. before menses agg. during lactation
Pyrosis, eructations with sour mucus. Hyper salivation.

Hypoglycaemia: nausea, vertigo, trembling, agg. fasting amel. eating,
Diabetes mellitus
Diarrhoea, watery, sour, excoriating. Sore nates.
Heavy legs, trembling extremities with weakness.
Differential diagnosis
Ph. ac. and all other Acids, all Muriaticums, Med., Puls. and all Lacticums
like Sarcolactic acid, Saccharum lacticum and Lacticum salts ( calcium
lacticum, magnesium lacticum etc.).
Out of ten cases we have chosen three to illustrate the remedy.
Case 1
The mother of a three year old complains of the child's hyper salivation.
The girls mouth is open, her tongue is protruded especially when
concentrated, for example on drawing. The salivation is worse in the day.
She sleeps with her thumb in her mouth. She has a rasping respiration. All
these complaints have been there since birth. The child likes to play with
dolls, cares for them and talks to them. She likes to draw and make puzzles.
She weeps easily when forbidden something or when she gets no food. She is
girlish, affectionate, vain, likes ribbons and ponytails. She makes contact
easily, but can be sharp and stand up for herself. Before dinner she can be
annoying and cry a lot. If meals are postponed she has hiccough.
Previous history: She was born three weeks early and was in the incubator
for three days. She was breastfed for five months, but then didn't grow
enough and was given bottle milk. She caught colds easily and often had sore
nates. During pregnancy the mother complained of nausea all day long. If
mother didn't eat, the nausea grew worse, but the food was usually vomited
again. She craved for herring (salty) and pickles. After drinking milk she
had a bad taste in the mouth.
Generals: Warm type. Sweat on the head, sour smelling, agg. weeping
Desire: warm food, cheese (3), sour (3), pickles (2) herring, soup, fluids
(3). Aversion: bread and salad
Sleep: on left side; grinding teeth
Prescriptions: She was given Med., Sulph., Stram., Verat., Merc., Trif.p. ,
and Calc. nit. before. Lact. ac. relieved the complaints. After one month
she is much better. She talks more clearly, can tolerate fasting and the
salivation has improved considerably.
Case 2
A woman aged 25 complains of hypoglycaemia: her stomach rumbles if she
doesn't eat, she becomes restless and dizzy, trembles and sweats and has the
feeling she will faint. During menses these symptoms are worse. It started
when she was 18 during a difficult time in her life. Her mother badgered the
life out of her, she had no contact with her father and her brother took his
frustrations out on her. She left home in consequence.
She complained of hyperventilation two years prior to the hypoglycaemia.
She has no self-confidence, doesn't know what she wants. She is volatile,
can have a big mouth, but wonders if this is to conceal her timidity. She
sometimes feels as if she is wearing the mask of a clown. She can be
irritable especially during menses. She can be either closed and sensitive
or open and a blabber. Her dreams are about being chased and injured.
She is childish with a high pitched voice. She is small and slim. She often
has headaches when stressed. It seems to splash in her forehead when she
shakes her head, it is as if a hammer hits her. Nausea and vomiting can
accompany this complaint, as well as vertigo. The headache is worse with
noise and light and ameliorated by cold.
She has swelling of her lips when eating fruit like apples, peaches, kiwi,
nectarines, apricots and cherries. She then complains of itching extending
to the throat and ears and of losing her voice.
She is afraid of violence, blood and knives.
When she was sixteen she took an overdose of aspirin because life
overwhelmed her: the tension at home, between her parents and the fights
with her brother.
Generals: Warm-blooded ,cold feet amel. fresh air and windows open. Sweat
at night sometimes. Agg. in the evening. Sleep: good, on the side.
Desire: sweets, milk, vegetables. Aversion: fat (2), meat, fish
Menses: frequent, every two weeks; distended abdomen and swelling of
breasts before menses
Prescription: Lacticum acidum M was given a few times during one year after
which she has grown more independent and balanced. The hypoglycaemia has
practically disappeared.
Case 3
A robust young girl born in 1986 with blue eyes (strabismus) has already
received many remedies in the past years like Puls., Med., Calc.c. , Kali.
bi., Sep., Nit. ac., Sil. and Merc. before Lacticum acidum was given for her
continuous colds with tenacious mucus. She coughs and sits with open mouth,
has foetor ex ore, a hoarse voice, salivation, earache coming outside in the
open air and after milk. Her stool is sour, undigested, watery and gives her
sore nates. At night she wakes up to crawl into her parents bed.
Previous history: She has had warts and a fistel in her mouth after a
broken tooth.
She had a vulvitis when she was 12 weeks old. Putrid eyes at the age of 10
months and pneumonia at 14 months.
Generals: Desire: carrots (3), cheese (3), beer, sherry. Aversion: sweet
(2), warm drinks.
Thirsty for cold water and always hungry: obesity
Weather: amel. outside Sweat: easy agg. night agg. scalp
Time: amel. evening after dinner. Sleep: talks in sleep
Mind: She is sweet, happy and active, even a bit restless. She can be
impatient, cannot sit still and indulges in fancies.
During the first consultation in '88 her mother described her as a 'real
girl'. She weeps and whines easily, especially when mother leaves the room.
She is eager to learn and a boy-mad girl. She has a rigid way of thinking.
Prescription: When an other therapist discovered a Lactase deficiency the
idea came up to give Lacticum acidum 200K in January 94. A rapid
amelioration of her sleeping habits, colds, stool and dependent attitude set
in. Repetition of the remedy was only necessary after 18 months.
