herbal eardrops

Does anyone have a recipe?? for a/ calendula ear drops or b/ ear drops that
can be used for fungal ear infections.
I going to use remedies primarily but the itching and dry skin after the
infections drive him nuts and I was in the long ago dim past given some
calendula (and perhaps other ingredients) drops to use for swimmers ear that
not only soothed and helped to heal but seemed to slow the fungal
reoccurrence. I would like to know how to make these up and or any other
tips or remedies to use for fungal ear infections as I cant find much in
rubrics that seem to point towards it. regards Pauline

however, this is not a specific recommendation, only an idea that the rx
can be useful in ear fungus. but i would seriously recommend
having a proper case taken and a remedy selected according to
proper homepathic protocol. these rx may be good ones for you,
but further evaluation is necessary.

Thanks Tanya I dont have Synthesis yet? I have taken a full case and Merc
scored very high on symptoms before allopathic treatment however he has just
had extensive antibiotic treatment (for sinusitis post flu) which has
clouded the picture and reduced the symptom picture to really only generals
and of course the a/bs have been a bother with this long term fungal ear
problem. I want to give something to use that would perhaps keep fungal in
check while I let the symptom picture develop more characteristically again
so I can give a similimum .Hence the request regarding drops etc Many thanks

Oh, and as to a 'recipe', I use calendula tincture at a ratio of 1:9 when making up a cream for open wounds etc. so that would be my guide.

Hi Pauline,
That is one of the big problems with bringing in homeopathy after
allopathy!! But the prior picture *is* what you should choose your
remedy based on. If you see a mercury picture in the prior symptoms, I
would try it!

Before I knew about homoeopathy a Natropath gave me a tip to help my
daughters with their recurrent middle ear problems - Cut a small
piece off a fresh clove of garlic, wrap it in cottonwool, smear the
cottonwool with calendula cream and insert into the ear. The cream
was to protect the ear from the stinging potential of the garlic
juice. This was amazing at shortcircuiting the usual pattern of cold
followed by ear infection, and I could imagine it would clear the
sinuses too.

yes, garlic is as close to a pancea as we will find in nature, i am
convinced.
i used garlic cloves in the ear for throat and cold infections when my kids
were small. i still recall reading that putting some garlic on the sole of
a baby's foot would draw infection from the body. it was recommended that
some oil be put on the skin to prevent burning. i had used garlic to draw
down oral canker sores yrs ago, again monitoring for the burning of the
gum tissues. the russians are reputed to have place cloves of garlic
around the edges of lacerations in war to draw infection. and i am
convinced that during the plague, those amulets that people wore
around their neck included garlic to disenfect the air being breathed.

A few drops of coconut oil mixed with tea tree oil (and/or fresh garlic juice) is very effective. I speak from personal experience(candida).
