Thanks to everyone that replied it helped a great deal and was very
interesting. I saw the pt again today and learnt some more aspects of the
headache she had previously not remembered / noticed and it looks like Ars
alb has a good possibility and more Tubercular symptoms from history
remembered so she is going to try Ars for next headache. Also feel there is
a hormonal influence as they had started and worsened since menopause and
coming off HRT. Will update after she gets to try Rx. Thanks again everyone

Today I had a woman who pulls out her pubic hair. The other signifigant
symptom was the severe vertigo she gets when she becomes anxious ..."like being

Hello everyone -

I just want to point out that it is important to ask hair-pullers an
additional question (in case they don't clarify it themselves): when
they pull their hair - be it on the head or pubic - do they do it to
"feel the texture" of the hair (and then it falls out - or not - as a
result of the handling and tugging), or they just pull it out of the
scalp? (And, related to that, do they "feel" a single strand at a time
- or do they pull out various hairs at the same time?)
In both cases they find "relief" - but the underlying reasons might be
VERY different. (Not that it makes the diagnosis much easier.
