lymph node abscess

hello big brothers
how are you ?
this is regarding my elder sister
her case ..............
she is very obese, two weeks back a small swelling appeared near the external throat lymph nodes area which had a reddened areola and also throbbing. incidentally it is over the same scar which she got three years back when an abscess had formed for which she had recievd antibiotics and got it drained.
this time i gave her merc sol 200 * 1first and waited for two days
when nothing happened i gave her merc sol 1M * 1
after this single dose the reddness has gone and the swelling and pain around has also improved but now after 5 days she tells me that she has developed swelling all over the body specially her feet........this she tells me was like this before also when she was pregnant five years back.
now what do i consider this as ........
do i take it as old symptoms reappearing i.e. reverse direction or
should i consider it as the disease travelling deeper.
am a bit confused
any inputs would be great

Sounds like a reversal...I would do NOTHING at this point, see what
happens after a few weeks or months, easier to tell then.

Thanks Juliet for your views.
It indeed seems like a reversal.....however i have asked her to get her kidney functions and bp monitored meanwhile.
Anybody else with a different view could help .

thanks for the reply
she has been feeling fine generally
there is no other pathology although i have recommended a USG and a kidney profile
meanwhile the pain has almost subsided and the overall swelling has also reduced to almost nil as i had a word with her this morning.
to my surprise she told me that this last week has been very strange as she's been suffering from a whole lot of symptoms from the past like urgency to urinate and a ras on the abdomen which she started feeling since yesterday.
this looks like a reversal for sure but lets wait and watch and wait for the results as well.
would there be any thing else that you recommened?
i am just wondering and also praying that it does benefit her obesity as well.

If she is feeling "fine" despite all of these odd-and-familiar things
going on, it does sound good, and "waiting" is all I can think to
do--sounds good!!!

Re the obesity, I hope you will let us know whether that changes or
not. There are many things that can help obesity--do others have
experience with how much can be effected from remedy alone?
