Ankylosing Spondylitis

Post by homeojuliet »

Hello Everyone! I am currently a student of homeopathy. So glad to
be a part of your group!

I have a few questions on Ankylosing Spondylitis, does anyone here
have experience with this?

What kind of healing could you expect to see with constitutional
prescribing on a patient with ankylosing spondylitis? For those who
don't know, the vertebrae fuse together in this progressive disease.
I am trying to get my friend in for constitutional treatment and while
I am optimistic, I am not sure realistically what effect the remedy
might have on her condition. Is this a syphilitic trait? Could the
fusion be slowed or stopped, could it be reversed? It is causing her
a great deal of pain and inflammation, I certainly expect this to be
relieved by the remedy but I am curious to know if it is possible to
stop or even reverse the disease. There is a paternal link with the
disease.

Thanks for all your help!

I was diagnosed w/AS quite a few years ago by a chiropractor, who said
there was nothing that could be done, except to have more chiropractic
work.

I was just beginning to study Homeopathy and didn't know how to apply
any rem's to myself.

However, I began practicing yoga, and stopped taking Calc / Mag
supplements.

I no longer have AS. The cure is 99% complete. Thank goodness for
Homeopahty & Schuessler's cell salts.

Regards,
Bill G.

Hi Bill,
Did the excess calcium actually un-deposit? What cell salts did you
use? (And i wonder how big a role the yoga in itself played--that is
intriguing!)

Your message is very confusing.

Wondering what is the purpose of your posting in the group ?

Surely it is good for us to know / hear that AS is (apparently) not
irreversible...
I wonder whether the yoga alone could have broken down the deposits? I
would not have thought along that line, but it sounds very reasonable,
actually.

Bill,

Thank you so much for the reply! I am very hopeful for her case, she
is still early in the disease which is only affecting her sacral iliac
joint - complete on one side and 75% on the other. It causes pain and
swelling but if it can be controlled and progress be slowed/stopped
all together her quality of life obviously would be much improved.

She can not afford chiropractic and her insurance does not cover. I
think yoga is a great option for her though.

She is not taking cal/mag supplements but her multi does contain
calcium and magnesium...will this be problematic for her?

When you say your cure is 99% complete and you no longer have AS, do
you mean it is reversing or no longer progressing?

What homeopathic remedies did you use and which cell salts?

Thanks again for the info!

Blessings,
Juliet
