David McRae - contracted rabies after a bite from a bat in Scotland and died

Following on from the email regarding the 'unvaccinated' worker in Scotland who died of rabies 'because he was the only one not vaccinated as he relied on homeopathy', I've come across the following information.

BBC News. - No mention has been made that he was the only one unvaccinated because he relied on homeopathy!!!! No mention is made that bat workers are vaccinated anyway.

This is a story of a woman who got bit by a bat round about the same time but before the man died with it. It was confirmed the bat had rabies. The woman had been 'unvaccinated' prior to the bite but the bite didn't cut the skin.

Bat conservationist dies from rabies
The naturalist who caught a rare form of rabies after being bitten by a bat has died in hospital in Dundee. The 55-year old had been critically ill for some weeks. He had reportedly refused inoculation against the European bat lyssavirus (EBL), which causes paralysis, fever and eventually a lapse into coma. It was the first death from rabies contracted in the UK for a century. EBL is common in bats in Europe, but only two bats in Britain have been diagnosed with the disease in recent years. Here is the first mention that he refused vaccination AFTER he became ill - but no mention that it was because he relied on homeopathy.

In this link they talk to people who were close to the man that died. There's more to this man than was presently known -
"AS A wildlife artist with a taste for danger, David McRae had scaled exposed rockfaces in Patagonia and trekked through remote, snake-infested jungles of Papua New Guinea to lay down the first images of lost tribes on his blank canvas."
Although it does say they don't know why he wasn't vaccinated and refused to be vaccinated during treatment - again, no mention of it being because he relied on homeopathy. And this article talks to close friends of his.

This is from the SNH (Scottish National Heritage) who David McRae worked for. Again, no mention of the homeopathic connection.
Try as I might, I cannot find any mention that David McRae refused to be vaccinated against rabies because he relied on homeopathy.
AND IF he did believe in homeopathy then he would have taken the necessary remedies the moment he was bitten, just like any one of us would do if bitten by a dog, cat, or whatever.
So, perhaps you can show me where it says "he refused vaccinations because he relied on homeopathy"?
