One sided atypical psoriasis case.

Post by Rochelle Marsden »

I am stuck on a new case that came in today and would be pleased to
have any ideas . I see it as a one - sided case as there really isn't much wrong with her. The
psoriasis she says is a cosmetic problem really as it doesn't seem
to bother her too much in any other way. I can send anyone
interested a photo of the psoriasis as I doubt the photo will appear
in the text below. Any thoughts of remedies I can read up. I have posted the full case on the closed Homeopath Club list if you want to read it there.

Rochelle
The case:-
Presenting complaints- Psoriasis
Presentation - red circular patches

The psoriasis started on her head at age 14 (she is now age 45) - no aetiology and worked downwards to
her back, buttocks and legs. She does have some on her arms. It is
not on her trunk and rarely on her face. It was at its best when she
was pregnant but exploded out a few days after the births. It is for the sun and > salt
water.

I think Sep might be close- pregnancy related modality, during pregnancy - points to some
endocrinal relationship - may be as intercurrent

Selenium - complaint goes downwards, good skin symptoms like psoriasis

I'm really busy today but I have a few thoughts I will get to you with
later

Does this feeling of 'her skin won't bend with her' come through in any
other parts of the case, i.e. not yielding, stuck up with paste, can't
bend etc. Also what is her history of acutes been. By the way I take it
the psoriasis does bother her else why did she come for homeopathic
treatment? I would appreciate the photo when you can send it. Best
wishes, Joy

Thank you for your suggestions which I will study. I haven't thought of
looking at the Kali group. I need to be sure of the sense of duty in this
woman.
