psoriasis case - update

Not long ago I posted a question about a psoriasis case on the list. The patient had been doing very well on Staphysagria till she was fired from her job and the remedy stopped acting. Different potencies etc. didn't seem to make a difference. There was some Carc in the background, but I wasn't sure what to do and many of you gave some very helpful suggestions.
However, the picture wasn't clear enough to prescribe. The totality still seemed to fit Staph very well and I was concerned that if I moved away from the remedy it would be hard to get back to it. Help was at hand... within a few days the patient got sick. The symptoms (none of them new to her) were throat pain, coughing waking her at night, and the modalities all matched... Staph. I asked her whether there was any improvement in the psoriasis during the acute, and although she hadn't really been focused on it during the coughing etc., in retrospect she said yes. So I prescribed Staph again, the cough cleared up almost immediately - slight vestiges left but not much, and the other symptoms went.
So in the meantime I'm staying with Staph. The psoriasis has started improving slightly again and I'm moving up through LM potencies with this patient. It's been an educational, if somewhat rocky ride!
