Tub or Bac in mentally retarded children

Hi,

I am planning to treat the family of a patient who was exposed to his
mother's tuberculosis when he was a child. He is responding well to
Tub (Kotch). His three children were all born mentally retarded. (He
and his wife seem quite bright). They range from toddler to
preschool. I am thinking of spending a day or two with them so that I
can observe the children as well as interview. Does anyone have
experience differentiating between the various Tub and bac in this
kind of case? O. Julian gives credit to Bac in cases of "slow
developement" in children (MM of Nosodes). I reallize that each child
will probably need a very different remedy and no one may need the Tub
that their father responds so well to. Nevertheless, I am trying to
prepare myself. I will also interview the mother before I go for the
observations so that I can do some research when I have all my books.

The whole family of this patient (all the adult siblings) seem to
share portions of the Tub character. The px says "Give me a stick and
I will poke it in your belly and turn it. That's how we all are in
our family. You don't want to hang out with us." The famly is into
risky behavior (drugs, gambling not sure what else). They appear very
active and bright, but not social conformists. Kind of scary, but my
cousin has introduced me and I think I will be able to pull me out if
I find myself in a hell hole.

When Dr. Ramakrishnan needs a tubercular nosode, he favors Bacillinum if
skin issues predominate; otherwise, Tuberculinum is his choice.
