Hi,
I was wondering if anyone out there has had any cases of people who are
addicted to Crystal Meth, which seems to be so highly addictive and how were
the treatments carried out etc.
Spare me the details of treating the individual etc. as that is an obvious
choice, I also understand that addictions are difficult to break and that
many other issues come into it such as life-style, desire to stop, stop
hanging around with people who take drugs etc.
I am still interested in how cases have been handled etc.
Thanks
Sandra

Hi Sandra,
I have treated acute symptoms successfully with sulphur 200c every 15
minutes or so.The remainder requires a more individualised approach.

Re: Crystal Meth Drug of Addiction
I have a patient - a 17 yr old boy who was taking this when he first
consulted with me. He is not taking it now but still does the occasional
Ecstasy. I did some research on it by phoning one of the drug helplines and
was told that it is not physically addictive. The addiction is all in the
mind. I think the patient needs to be told this. I started the patient on a
Nux /Sulph detox and refused to treat him unless he made an attempt to stay
off the drugs otherwise I couldn't see the point in him seeing me. He wanted
to be helped and therefore came off it. I then went onto constitutional
treatment and he is still seeing me after a year.Coming off the cannabis was
a slower matter but since he was so ill (possibly convulsions when he last
used it - I bet it was a bad batch) he has come off this!! If I can get him
into the mindset that he doesn't need Ecstasy to enjoy himself he would be a
lot better off!!! (He has done well on Bar Carb, Bar Sulph)
