New with question

Post by ISE777 »

First of all...clowns scare me too : -D

Hello to everyone! I am a Holistic Counselor and a woman has me stumped.
I dabble in homeopathic remedies for sinus problems, fevers, etc and
ALWAYS have Arnica in my purse. I am wondering if homeopathy can help
her.

She told me she fears being judged so much she hides in her home most of
the time. She is overweight and mild psoriasis in certain places.
I asked to see her without make up so I could study her face and she
refused, saying she didn't even go to the market without make up on. She
says she has giant dark circles all around her eyes. Her eyes are large
and beautiful with long lashes and usually blood shot, says they always
feel on fire. She fears people judging her appearance so much she avoids
social situations. I blame our Hollywood obsessed world...anyway, she
seems lively and jovial but seems to have a very short, HOT temper and
buried anger about her childhood. She had a history of bladder
infections as a child, also sinus infections, then psoriasis. Something
about her makes me feel there is chronic inflammation, perhaps as a
result of her anger. I looked into Sulfur and Staphysagria...but since I
am only a homeopathic dabbler, I am not sure what to give her. Her fear
of being "seen" is pretty extreme to me and I think once that is
released she will enjoy her life much more.

Any ideas would be so appreciated!
Marcie : )

PS- I read in one book that woman can't be Sulfur constitutions? Is that
correct?

Perhaps 3 rubrics you could look at to start with
EYE; HAIR; eyelashes; long and silken (4)
MIND; LOOKED at; cannot bear to be (K63, SI-712, G50) (Delusions;
looking at - watched) (Fear; looked, at - observed, of her condition
being) (Hide; desire to) (Laughing; looked at) (Morose; looked at,
being) (Timidity; bashful) (Weeping; tendency; looked at) (27)
SKIN; ERUPTIONS; psoriasis (K1316, G1085) (105)
Best Wishes, Jean

*But* once you've got her on a remedy, you'd need to be prepared to
follow whatever happens, or doesn't. Marcie, altho dabbling is just
fine for injuries and not-too-severe acutes, other issues come into
play for any chronic case. Is there a homeopath in the area that could
take her case fully, and work with her?

And it's definitely not true that women cannot be constitutional
sulphur! What book did you read that in?
Best,
Shannon
