Hi all,
I'm just watching a CNN World Report (will be aired periodically through out this month).
Did you know that Tamiflu is made mostly from STAR ANISE? Yes, that nice star-shaped spice used in Chinese cooking.
In our homeo books its called: Anisum stellatum ; Star Anise Magnoliaceae

the problem is not the star anise, which is a wonderful herb used
medicinally as well in the kitchen,
but what they do to it in the lab--dont you think?

They graft it onto a mouse ear, infect it with some bizarre
pathogen, give it a coctail of drugs to 'cure' it, ( read attenuate
and mutate the pathogen) get a cat to eat it and pass it out the
other end, where it is then fried in engine oil, then freeze dried
and macerated in olive oil to make it healthy, pasteurised, and
injected. Allegedly

would they need used or new engine oil ? Used would be more cost effective.
