Re: [Minutus] hello - Hi all - these are virus emails..........
but NOT coming from me. Thank goodness Minutus doesn't allow attachments.

Since these latest rounds of viruses, someone gets the virus on their
system and then it attacks the address book and takes peoples addresses
from that system that are in the address book and then sends emails out
with their addresses with viruses in them.

I have seen over and over emails that look like they come from me but DO
NOT and have viruses in them.

Just an FYI because if you get these kind of things personally that look
like they are from people you know, always be sure they really sent them.

To avoid the propagation of the viruses, in your email address book create a
dummy account with email address !&54647&!
(your computer will say this is not a proper/valid email address - but still
press OK to accept)

This then sits as your number 1 address location.

If you are ever hit and taken over by one such virus, when the virus tries
to send, it tries to send this and the computer then advises that the
address was not valid. You then know you have a virus in your computer and
can do something to sort it.
