Poison Mushrooms/Toadstools...

Post by Ruby »

Hello!

Has anyone had experiences with homeopathic Poisonous Mushooms/
Toadstools? Are there any provings to look at? I'm interested in some
that are kind of coral in color on top. Don't know where to go to look
for Identification pictures, but the color was pretty vibrant.

Jennifer, you may be describing the amanita mushroom, which is vibrant
coral/ orange/red color on a rounded top, with white spots. It's extremely
poisonous. I believe I've seen allysion to it as a remedy, but I don't
remember the name. I'll check. Is it agaricus??? I'll get back to you
unless someone else knows it right away and tells us. :-)) Rosemary C.

Yes, it IS agaricus muscarius -- spotted amanita.

Rosemary,

I think that is it! I think mine is maybe be Amanita muscaria, which is listed (now that I've been able to find something that looks like it) to range
from yellow to orange to red. Mine was expanded.... more flat, but I was able to find a picture that looked like mine.

The information seems to indicate that it causes acute liver and kidney problems, which I am wondering if there is any homeopathic remedy premade from
this, and if so, what provings have been done on it? It looks interesting and promising.

Thanks so much Rosemary! I appreciate your help in the right direction!

Dear Jennifer, if you want pictures then use Google or any other exceelent
search engine and just type in the name of a mushroom. In fact you can do
this with any remedy and get some interesting results. I have a few cases of
agaricus which I might post sometime (when I am not so bogged down with work
and clients). There are also many books around which deal exclusively with
plant remedies and these will have pictures also. Agaricus is an amazing
mushroom - the 'magic mushroom'. Best wishes, Joy Lucas
