Hi Rochelle,
I can think of the odd case where silica has helped and i am no longer seeing the patient, but also a couple where years later the patient has said the condition is recurring, can they have more silica? I don't really regard that as palliation but of a remedy given successfully 'coming round again'. If a remedy is successful on any level I don't think it is usually the last time the person will ever need it.

You say periodically. Does that mean you think the Silica is palliative?
(Where did the urticaria come into the equation??)
and in a different string:
I always
give patients Calendula lotion which I make up myself with Calendula
tincture and Calendula oil laced with Burdock tincture and Urticaria.
