fear of vomitting

Post by robin9168 »

Does anyone have any info about remedies that have this?
I have seen 2 Arsenicum-like cases that had it severely but neither
were Arsenicum and I never found a curative remedy.

yes, the rx some of us have been discussing - Sambucus and many others

if the fear is in a child then it has some rationale to it, no-one
really likes to vomit although one can know they will feel >>>
afterwards but sometimes those who do not like to 'let go' will have
this fear and other rx where the vomiting is SO representative of
their state, where constant vomiting occurs or they 'know' they are
going to vomit, as in travel sickness then a fear develops. Tabacum,
for example has such terrible vomiting that they are taken over by a
fear of being sick. Ant crud has something similar.

Others - valerian; carcinosin; staph; maybe have a look at the rx in
the rubric 'fear of losing control'

Even people with anorexia or bulimia develop a fear of vomiting. All
depends what they are frightened of. Best wishes, Joy

Interestingly, I just had a little girl with this sx. There was nothing of
Ars. about her, but there was a general fearfulness that struck me as
centering around being out of control. Her mother reported her as being
hysterical during the drive to school when she thought she might throw up.
Gave her Carc. (which is also her dad's rx), but it's too soon to know how
well it worked.

Peace,
Cinnabar

Without any intent of 'cook book' prescribing, I would suggest looking at
the M/E symptoms.
Perhaps fear (aconite?) -or- difficultly resolving M/E issues with
classmates, teachers -or- ???
Just a thought :)
