Re: [Minutus] rubric help: skin eruptions with red border
[input] [input] [input] [input]
Dear Sakti,
Thanks for the response. Boenninghausen’s TPB has helped a lot in a recent case so I'll check this one according to his method. Where can I find P. Sankaran's article - any chance of it being online somewhere?
Thanks,
Vera

Dear Vera,
Thanks for the question. My answer was on Boenninghausen's logic of generalisation. Where we can manipulate, enlarge various rubrics. This was also elaborated by C.M.Boger [vide esp. repertory part of Synoptic key also preface of the book]. I also request to go thro'P. Sankaran’s article Introduction to Synoptic key.

Dear Joy,
Re. Rubric help eruption with red border, I think rubric 'eruption red' might help. In this regard I can tell my late father's tip: 'eruption red' - Cinnabaris. In my clinic I've used it & got result. Where exact rubric is not available we can use sprit of the rubric. I think symptom similarity is not is not 'textual' always, but some time it is 'conceptual' too. Conceptual Rx is the art part in homoeopathy rather than textuality.

P.S: In this regard I mention one adv of great prescriber late Dr. P.Sankaran: we've to manipulate our repertory [i.e. rubrics].
Dear Vera,
As my preoccupation with my profession leaves little time to elaborate in detail I’m here giving some out lines. Concept of Generalization with some examples:
[1] Attitude bizarre [P 31 –Boger Synoptic Key BKS] it is both a physical & mental symptom [Kent give the same in mind]
[2] Blackness [BKS P 31]: - It includes discharges, Skin, Ulcer, etc. [Same with Offensiveness]
[3] Falling [BKS P 36]: - It includes prolapsus [rectum, uterus etc], falling while waking [or sensation of falling or falling with vertigo], Compare Pressing or bearing down [it includes hernia, tenesmus etc]
[4] Pregnancy, child bed [BKS P 42]: - It incudes Complaints during, after or due to pregnancy.
[5] Redness, Rawness [BKS P 42]: - It includes ulcer, skin, discharges, even flushing, blushing of face [redness].
[6] Old age, senility [BKS P 41]: - It includes complaints in old people, premature old age, expression like old, etc.
[7] Influenza [BKS P 30]: - It include Influenza it self, complaints after, in other complaints simulating Influenza.
[8] Moistness, fluidity in general, discharges increased [BKS P 40]: - It includes discharges, sweat & even salivation [i.e. manipulation of rubric].
[9] Here & there [BKS P 38] Comp Wandering [P 48]: - It incudes symptoms, pains, even as mental e.g. - those who changes life partner, profession, doctor & residences etc.
[10] Hurry, impatience [BKS P 51]: - In Kent’s repertory we get two separate rubrics. But Boger has generalized them. We know that impatience is the feeling [subjective symptoms] but hurriedness is the actual attitude, act i.e. objective symptoms. [There are many objective symptoms in Mind - e.g. Quarrelsomeness, restlessness, abusiveness destructiveness etc. they are all ‘objective – subjective’, so to say as they are included in Mind] - very important in Rx]
I hope some glimpses I’ve given & these can be logically manipulated by ad infinitum
