For those families that have lost a loved one, it is a sad thing, but I for
one wonder:
1. Are we sure that is what killed them? Did they really test these people?
2. Who KNOWS what their Vital Force or Immune systems were like and what
else they were dealing with - poverty? nutrition?). (WHO says "Most cases
have occurred in previously healthy children and young adults. " - but what
do we know about that for sure? Were these people recently vaccinated for
something else, disturbing their immune systems?)
3. Did they test the all the birds or just a sickly few and then
slaughter them all?
4. Do these people live in a toxic area? Pesticides, Herbicides, Chemical
Plants, (and of course we certainly did add a lot of chemicals to their
lives with our war on them in the 60's)5. What might be behind the killing
of birds? One time Tyson Chicken Company wanted to move into a country (I
think it was China) and voila! There was something that 'forced'
the government to kill all the chickens there - leaving an open market for
Tyson. I haven't had time to look further at this, but I do know what
happened with so-called Foot & Mouth panic here in UK. 10 million animamls
killed FOR NOTHING. Not contagious to humans, not even a killer of animals
and most killed didn't even show evidence of the virus (if that even is an
issue) -it just makse them sickly - lots political behind that one - too
long to go into now.

This is HYPE pure and simple:

1. to keep you in fear which you know they love to do
2. give the media some new sensational thing to talk about
3. divert your attention from other things that the government doesn't
want you tolook at
4. sell vaccine and drugs
5. Virologists to get increased funding and jobs
6. and in the US to get their way with congress so that congress will pass
laws totally indeminifying the companies against ANY liability whatsover.
7. Excuse to mandate vaccines for everyone in the world - what a money
maker that would be - and what a tragedy (not to mention martial law)

Also we know the HUGE exaggeration that is made by the CDC every year in
saying 36,000 people die in the US of the flu - when there is NO proof of
that.

I agree. There's a tremendous amount of hype, and there are precedents, like foot and mouth, to demonstrate the power of mass hysteria, from which corporations are indeed savvy enough to profit. As illustration of useless hysteria, I was shocked to hear that the thousands of meals donated to victims of Hurricane Katrina by the British government were not allowed to be distributed because beef from Britain is currently banned in the US. I assume residents of UK are eating British beef, with reasonable health precautions on the part of the beef industry, with no untoward effects. I think more and more these days of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, Red Queen and Mad Hatter and all, and wonder if we haven't somehow slipped through the rabbit hole unawares! Rosemary

And the lies about Mad Cow Disease - don't get me started on that one.

BSE
The official theories are very vague and I am not aware of one clearly
stated and referenced exposition. The UK Ministry of Agriculture (MAFF)
cites abnormal prion material of ovine origin, contained within Meat and
bonemeal feed (Mbm) as the cause of BSE. There is a lot of scientific
contra evidence to this idea. There has been £140 million spent over 16
years and yet it still can't demonstrate Koch's postulates.

Summary points

* Meat and bonemeal (Mbm) fed to experimental animals doesn't produce
TSE or any disease.
* The pattern of infection in animals with BSE and Scrapie does not
suggest an oral route.
* Thousands of tons of Mbm exported abroad to many countries, when the
‘mutant’ prion, PrPsc/bse content was at it's peak, did not produce BSE.
* PrPsc/bse has been drastically reduced (to virtually nil) in Mbm over
the last 14 years and yet BSE is now appearing, with a continued trend
upwards, in many countries around the world ie the Republic of Ireland,
Portugal, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and Germany.
If the theory is correct one would expect BSE to have followed the rise and
fall in PrPsc/bse dose in Mbm.
* No scrapie strain innoculated into the brains of cattle has produced
BSE.
* Sheep/scrapie remains have been added to cattle feed since the mid
19th century (before modern rendering treatments were introduced); cattle
have also cross grazed pasture with sheep. Therefore cattle have been
exposed to scrapie since its beginnings 250 years ago without getting BSE.
* Changes in the continuous flow processing of the Mbm ( reported
lowering of temperature and the cessation of chemical extraction) often
blamed for triggering BSE occurred in several other countries without
causing BSE.(ie Scandinavia)
* Changes in rendering procedures : SEAC have informed me that the
temperature was never in fact lowered – thought to be 138deg. C. A change
down at such a low temperature would have been irrelevant because mutant
prion can withstand furnace temps of 1000 deg.C .
* The experiments to investigate how effective the chemical extractor,
acetone, had been at inactivating PrPsc/bse showed it was very poor. This
change in processing did however result in higher residues of pesticides
ending up in Mbm.
* Many cattle now developing BSE in the UK and abroad have not eaten
Mbm containing PrPsc/bse or been exposed vertically to PrPbse.via parents.
* No home reared cows on organic farms have developed BSE (20% Mbm was
permitted in their feed)

BSE is caused by a number of factors.
1) Organophosphates (OPs)
2) Manganese and copper
3) Oxidative Stress(OS)
4) When abnormal cattle prion reached Mbm this may also have amplified the
disease, if it was able to pass through a leaky gut wall into the blood
stream or into the lymph via a gut interface such as Peyer’s patches.
