By the way- speaking of the sun, we had a nice eclipse here yesterday. very clear and fun to watch. We watched thru an old floppy diskette as a filter!
re: sun & eyes
There were no details in the bio I read on Fred. Hahn
CORRECTION
vision problems at any time of the day.
Correction taken. What I wrote earlier is *my error* from some confusing info of some different sources. I had mixed up some different instructions gleaned from different sources.
However as for my own experience of sun-gazing -
... and I don't know from where I got my instruction-
Long, long ago (when I was young and adventurous) I tried sungazing myself for a short while. I did it only during the sunrise (while it was on the horizon, that is reddish in colour), about 1 minute or less. I didn't do it after the sun was fully up.
For what it's worth, I never felt any harm from it.
...
...and hey!!! maybe some benefits too- after all, 30 years later I can stare for hours at a computer screen without even noticing any effects!!!!!
Sincerely,
