I have seen homeopathic sulphur used to ward off garden insects.
May be worth a try here - potentize the water, put in a spray bottle
and spray the wood .

A non-homeopathic method that works against insects is to water
down mayonnaise sufficiently so that it can be sprayed from a spray
bottle and apply.
Grace & Peace :)

Checking the mail on this subject realize that I must have
accidentally deleted a portion of a response.
The deleted portion said what fun exploration of the various concepts
was and how lateral thinking and detective work contributed to the joy
of our great modality. I am sorry that what came through made so little
sense, Jean

Yes - just as Staph will help reduce mosquito attacks.

Funny thing happened a few years ago to me when after treating myself to be
wasp repellant - this was after going into anaphylactic shock a year so
prior following a wasp sting - I was walking in a field when something
tickled me between the thumb index finger. Reflexes took over and I gently
squeegeed and clutched the object. Upon lifting my hand to see what it was,
I discovered I was holding a wasp. You can only image how thrilled about
this I was, so I let it go IMMEDIATELY. Why didn't I get stung, perfect
setting, squeezing a yellow jacket in your hand (they don't like being
squeezed you know - I ve been stung before doing that). At a later date I
also had one get between my top sandal strap and bare foot without being
stung as well. So what has the remedy done to my electromagnetic field ?? Do
I communicate as a giant Father figure to the wasp and they feel non
threatened. Come to think of it --- by genealogy I am a W.A.S.P. Maybe
that's it.

I like that!!! So I have to ask--how did you "wasp proof" yourself?
I never get stung anyway. We get wasps in our house all the time; I
trap them in a cup and throw them back outside; or else down the
toilet, I am not completely non-threatening to them, I'm afraid. But
I've never grabbed one in my hand, and wouldn't want one under my
sandal strap! Interesting!

OK Thanks Chris for your accurate and "scientific" approach to
everything and proud espousal of Homeopathic cause.

You need not go into defensive mode all the time to prove again and
again how secure you are in your homeopathy and show up how insecure
we all are in our homeopathy... All of us have a lot to learn about
homeopathy and probably you have lot less to learn than people like
me...

I am not going to castigate anyone for defending sound homeopathic
principles.

Hi Chris:

There is a paper by that may be of interest to you at
http://www.europhysicsnews.com/full/20/ ... icle3.html

It's not light reading but none of this stuff is. They talk about the
helical time path leading of electronic wave propagation in crystalline
solids to photonic and phononic crystals. The refer to the possibility of
appearance of stop bands (also called gaps) separating pass bands (also
called bands). This means that the frequency axis may be divided into
alternating regions of gaps and bands: In the former, waves cannot propagate
(cannot even exist in an infinite periodic medium), while in the latter they
propagate freely due to constructive interference of the waves scattered by
the periodic medium. The gaps appear as a result of destructive interference
and/or the possible existence of non-accessible regions in space.
Furthermore, a local deviation from the periodicity may trap the wave around
it giving rise to an eigenfrequency in the gap. Attractive (i.e. negative)
deviations tend to pull states out and below the bands, while repulsive ones
(i.e. positive) tend to push states out and above the bands. This apparently
allows them to understand the distinction between conductors and insulators
and formed the basis of the creation of solid state electronics. So can it
be that your friend was in a state of Silicea imbalance that acted as a form
of insulator to shut down electrical appliances etc.

I've heard of other similar human electrical disruptions somewhere. However
if you can ever put all this in basic WASP language terms let me know.

Bob

PS Her homeopath probably came up with Silica by doing good homeopathy. My
experience with homeopathy is that with proper case taking and repertory
work you will come up with a remedy that only later can you relate to a
proven scientific fact. ie person in a calcium state - you later find when
their bone density tests come back, they have osteoporosis.

Hi Shannon

When wasp season approaches I do the same thing as I do in the so called flu
season - I hide in a closet. No that's just a little humor , I know very
little.
Really, I take a 200 C mixture of Vespa and Apis every couple weeks.

We had a wasp break-in last year in our house - they ate through the dry
wall and started flooding into the computer room . That was an interesting
evening and morning. I wasn't as kind to them as you were. I did ask me
wife to go in and launch our first counter attack. She did a find job but
got stung once . I was in closet.

Aspartame (Nutrasweet, Equal; Canderel etc) is supposed to kill ants, so it
may do the same for termites!

Try diet Coke/Pepsi
