Return Rate (in teams)

Post by doctorleelah2h »

Dear Fran,
There are 2 scenarios fo working together
1. A senior person with trusted assistants. IN thatcase there is
always someone to answer the pateint immediately, and only ONE boss.
The boss's decision overides anyone esles if it comes to the final
decision. Also depenidng on teh Boss's nature.
Usually the easier of the two situations.

2. Where two or more people have a very close mindset of homeopathic
prescription, analysis and clinical management - then they share the
work depending on what is the most convenient for either. Everyone has
an equal say, though unequal responsibilites depending on the
circumstances.
This is more difficult and requires close interaction and personal
emotional maturity till there is enough understanding about how the
process should work so that everyone wins. BUt it is the most
fulfilling becasue one can discuss and handle the most difficult cases
in tandem - and those incurable cases benefit from the best that each
one can offer.

I've worked in both situaitons. The first type is very common in
India. MOst people work in teams - its the only way to survive
serpentine queues of patients. ALmost all homeopaths I know -
Sankaran, Vijaykar, Farokh MAster, to name a few well known ones ...
work in this fashion. ITs the only way they are also able to give
seminars, etc and not completely neglect their patients.

The second is MUCH more fun - but finding the right people to be
involved in this type of commitment is the biggest obstacle. First
becasue styles adn appraoches and backgrounds are so varied - and
secondly becasue individual ego and immaturity can cause problems.
BUt I think its well worth the effort getting there - for homeopathy,
for pateints and for each homeopaths emotional, and professional
development.

I meant below - a very SIMILAR midset.
And the strengths of each person contribute to creating the best
homeopathy can offer. NO two persons can be the same, but a trust
exists that whatever one of the team does for a patient, its fine with
the others. It requires a team spirit and commitment as well.
