Apologies that we didn't really answer your original questions and got
carried away with rx suggestions.
What rubrics will help you the most because the 'fluid/pus in the ear'
isn't really trapped as she has a discharge much of the time. If there
is something along these lines of sensations then Merc has 'sensation
as if cold water running from ear' + a mixture of fetid/sweetness to
discharges << drafts but is <<< lying right side so this rx would
probably be discounted??
If you do decide on the nosode Tuberculinum then you will be putting
aside the placid nature of this person, Tub is never placid, so her
reaction to the pain is an important sx to include and not how she is
generally.
Can you name the type of pain, this too is crucial. Then you can add
the relevant rubrics or we can help you with them.
The chronicity is also important so you will be looking for this angle
as well (Causticum - which has thick gluey discharge, burning in ears,
catarrh).
To what extent is the discharge excoriating - if a great deal then this
sx should be higher ranked - could be sulphur as Soroush suggested
(relapsing conditions especially from suppression), could be Tellurium,
although this rx is also << lying on painful side.
As always it comes down to what needs to be cured and ranking the sx.
Best wishes, Joy
