miasmatic leaders - Simon

Post by doctorleelah2h »

Dear SImon,
YEs the answer is simple.
ITs the question of going to brass tacks. Where does a MIASM originate
and follwing that, what is the subsequent miasmatic expression in a
patient as against the individual expression.

A remedy is a leader in a particular miasm becasue
1. It represents the major MIASMATIC symtpoms (separate from
Individual symptoms).
But this does not means it cannot overlap into other miasmatic
expressions. It simply means that the PROVING characteristics of the
remedy are predominantly of a particular miasm.
2. It predominantly cures diseases and conditions classified into
those miasmatic groups.
3. IT has been used most often clincially for that miasmatic
expression and has worked to remove the miasamtic block.

Then, why is Cancer not CLEARLY classified as a miasm (though many
people seem to want to do it).
This is beacuse, as Joy pointed out somewhere, that cancer expression
is a nmultimiasmatic expression, in the ORIGINAL sense of percieving
and understanding miasms. Except for the tendency to CHAOS and
uncontrolled growth, which is the only common expresison of cancer
that may be termed "miasmatic", there isn't very much to fill out a
group expression like the other 3 (or 4) miasms.

So then, does the remedy Carcinosin expressess a multimiasmatic
expression or does it express cancer?
This is also debateable. Which cancer is it from? IN what stage of
miasmatic expression? ... gets a bit messy right?
So we hopefully, at the outset, have obtained a UNIFORM source of
Carcinosin (Burnette) that we prescribe based homeopathically on the
individual picture rather than the miasmatic picture, based on
provings and clinical information available.

I"m aware of it being used and propogated as an antimiasmatic
(including AUR). WHile there may be a place for this trend of thought,
I've still to find it fits in with the basic idea of miasms and their
expression - as well as the clincial management of them.
Hope this is helpful.
