Can you say any more about your successful Marfan's case? I'm curious
(for a start) about how old the person was, and whether the structural
effects were "cured", and what else happened?

Dear Shannon, you get so so many sx with Marfan's that the case can
seem to be overwhelming but in the 2 cases I have had I approached them
with a view to 'seeing' the case as a totality which included emotional
sx as well as physical and mental and in both cases I prescribed on the
totality as well as the for the more troublesome sx of the Marfan's. In
one it was the aorta and heart valves the other and complete
prostration, some eye problems and terrible back pain - both had many
other characteristics of the syndrome.
One case was given Nat mur for the totality and Kali iod to help with
the aorta. But this was the case I never had a follow up with so I
don't know how it went. This was a young adult. The other case had Mag
carb initially and which did the best work of all although I also
prescribed calc iod and a number of other rx as well as rx required for
a long list of acutes (which I think were part of the healing factor).
This was a teenager and although structurally some things didn't change
they were at least halted and a huge improvement in health was
obtained. This person still comes to see me whenever they need to.
There are so many 'degrees' of marfan's that many people can have the
dx but not know it and I have one other child (11 years) whom I suspect
has this condition but it is not for me to say and I just go with the
sx and the whole case.
