Re: Media - it just gets worse and worse
Added to that the members of CORH (Council of organisations registering
homeopaths, SOH, ARH, HMA etc) seem to be shooting the profession in
the foot with their proposed new procedures. Ostensibly to 'protect the
public interest' (WHAT???), homeopaths in the UK will have to jump
through more hoops and pay through the nose to register with a body
that does nothing for them except take their money to duplicate what
the registering bodies ALREADY do, and will pretty much continue to do.
What is the point of that? Except to make money for someone on a
council!
Instead of simply agreeing between them to recognise each others
registration process and set up a single register that encompassed them
all FOR THE GOOD OF THE PROFESSSION (allowing the character & Kudos of
the different organisation to speak for itself) they have , at GREAT
expense, created a separate organisation to battle out their
disagreements, which has not got them into a position which will
benefit the profession at all, more likely to damage it.
In other words all they have succeeded in doing is in putting an
official stamp on their inability to agree or cooperate, at great
expense.
What amazes me is that the profession is doing to to itself!
For my part I am crestfallen that the ARH were so naiive as to get
involved and allow it to go so far. They should be standing up for what
they originally stood for, and loud, and clear! The public then should
be INFORMED by each organisation what each organisation stands for. If
that marketing job was done properly it would soon weed out the
charlatans,
I really wish the organisations registering homeopaths would stop
bickering over who is competent to register homeopaths and concentrate
on the job that really needs doing PROMOTING HOMEOPATHY TO THE PUBLIC.

You need to get up to speed, and find out what the ARH is actually doing!
What you are saying here is very out of date. Email me privately if you want
to know more, but things have moved on, and important negotiations are going
on at this moment. The ARH is letting no-one down!

Hi Steve,
There are several ARH members here in Norwich and I am usually kept as
up to speed as they are, about the ARH.
If the ARH is doing more to address the issues that I have recently
posted on, I'm very glad to hear it.
I in no way wish to denigrate the ARH's work in the NOS, registration
process's or with CORH, please reread my posts to be clear about what
it is I am commenting on.
